The way Bill Nye falls backwards after being shocked with his arms up-front is definitely inspired by all the Chinese LiveLeak electrocution videos.

What if.... They took the flower that brought him alive out of the ocean, and he just died forever. Or if he just becomes the world's ocean regardless of the flower and he makes more appearances. What if the ocean becomes the 5th smiling friend™. Imagine. Lol.

I would highly recommend Aqua Teen Hunger Force, as it’s the show that Rotten’s voice actor is most known for.

Please watch the first three episodes or so of Nagatoro with Richard, with post-credit scenes. After that, do what you will with that series. Episode seven is where it gets good and starts to say something about her defense mechanism.

I feel like the only reason most people can kinda accept death is because we learn about it as kids & a lot of us have that "Maybe I'll live forever." fantasy or the kid idea that maybe humans will discover eternal life or maybe we just believe in Heaven or reincarnation or whatever. Regardless, we have a lot of time to process the idea by the time we're adults who think realistically. If we were basically born as already adults with the capacity to think deeply about things & face reality, most of us probably would flip the Hell out the first time we heard about death.

I remember trying to like Aqua Teen Hunger Force when I was younger. Never really clicked. But I'm happy to see some of the folks from older Adult Swim working with the new guys. That's actually really sweet.
