Dale Crover is one of the sickest drummers around! He makes the most craziest and heavy sounding drum sounds and King Buzzo makes that guitar scream and make sounds I've never heard come out of a guitar!!!

29:02 i remember that fucking shit 10 years later when they opened up for TOOL in Orlando in like 2002..... NOT A LIE. they actually left the stage for 2min while the guitar squeeled the whole time, damn near microwaving the whole fucking arena.

I caught them at Ozzfest in '98 in West Palm Beach. I didn't even know they were on the bill until I saw Buzz's hair in the crowd!! Caught their set, Awesome but when Buzz joined Tool for "You Lied" I damn near cried!! Two great tastes that taste great together!! That's still one of my all time favorite "Tool" songs, well they and Buzz's rendition of it anyway.

There are some absolutely outstanding Melvins shows here on RU-vid. I am grateful and psyched. Got to see them a couple of times live, it's not enough. And now my old cd's are wearing out, Electrotard, Lysol and Bullhead. I guess I could look em up to order them, but I'm cheap.

Jesus, it's like a medley of some of their greatest hits from their peak era, all killer no filler. Starting AND ending with two of my all-time favorites. Would have loved to hear "With Teeth" also from the record that could not be named but I have a feeling that I'll be re-watching this video a few times. Much thanks uploader!!

That is really cool! I got a load of shit for wearing an Iron Maiden shirt to the doctor's, it was the first Maiden album cover shirt. At first he was cool, telling me he loved that album, but then because he realized I was born a year after it came out he was insinuating I was a poser. Screw that blowhard. Being alive when great music is happening is not a prerequisite to being allowed to like them. I hate elitist scenester's to any kind of music, it's all for everyone. That's why I like life, great music, one person cant take it away from another.

Daniel Green the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Key word "fame". The Melvins are pretty good, but they were never popular and famous like most of the artists in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Gee where have we seen that drum set up before? Big Deep toms... Deep snare... Big crashes. Would that be that same type of set up Dave Grohl used in Nirvana? Yes it would be!!! The guy is not the regular bass player (which would be Jared Williams, and plays with a regular 4 string fretted bass, i think), it's Trevor Dunn from Mr Bungle, they had him as a member of the "Melvins Lite" line up, which would be the line up who recorded Freak Puke last year :)

I swear another band covered it as well. The Melvins do a killer cover of Fleetwood Mac by way of Priest's "green manalishi". And the Cars, I forget the song but it was great. And Alice Cooper "ballad of Dwight Frye" kick ass. These guys were better at covers than Metallica, lol. Saw them in western Mass 2 or 3 years ago and they did "Deuce" by Kiss. It was wonderful, even though I hate Kiss, I like the Melvins adaptations, "going blind" the best.
