The only place I know of where it's available (and in an official form nonetheless) is Apple Music, but like...c'mon, who uses that over RU-vid or Spotify? Come to think of it, the Melvins/Shitkid split EP and the isn't anywhere online at all, same with the Smells Like Teen Spirit cover on The Crybaby. (I snagged a limited edition CD copy of the former when I saw them on tour last year) I wonder why...
@@hankworden3850 I *do* have a physical copy, I just prefer to have everything in one place if possible, 'cause swapping between Spotify, RU-vid & Windows Media Player constantly is really inconvenient. ...also, 'golden principles'? What did you even mean by that?
My man, '92 was such a SONICALLY STELL☆R Year! Our 90's Portland Industrial Art Project @Hitting Birth Toured a 💩Ton w/Melvins from '89/'90~'96, all up & down I-5. Especially Eugene, Portland, Olympia, Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver BC Canada, during Houdini, Lysol, Bullhead&EggNog Era! BESTEST of times, for we had 2 stand-up kits w/lots of metal percussion (i gave Dale that 16"Remo Spoxe!), fuzzy bass, samples & a shopping 🛒cart wired w/6efx pedals, we'd grind sparks on too! love this presentation of their Wall O Sound, bc that's how either band could drone out thee Idiots... THEN really git down once the true freaks where rabid. Cheerce
@@keithbornzin8888 listened to some of your stuff from this time and it is so good, i LOVE the percussion hearing this with melvins would have been such a great show. and i know exactly what you mean about weeding out the fair weather morons lmao. thank you for commenting!! also thats great that you gave him that remo spoxe, i was actually wondering what the size of it was so you did me a favor confirming it's a 16
@@austinkendrick8217 I think it is because the drum scarcity is interrupted by drum brutalism. A squared, overfilled yet crude and arid drumming that make the song heavier enough to break any listener will
One time, I was having a doom/stoner metal listening session while getting high between albums when I put this song on. Around the 2:50 mark when the cymbals crash for the first time and Buzz's wordless wails start creeping in, I felt the high crawl up my spine and into the back of my head. Then I sank into the center of the Earth. Couldn't get out until the song was finished. Hell of an experience, would do it again!
@@islowthingsdown Yeah I feel something more akin to that, song gives me chills. Roman Bird Dog has a bit more of an edge for sure, but I wouldn't compare it to a corpse, more like the soundtrack to watching a large scale natural disaster unfold.
I'll upload a new one, with Turok 2 gameplay. I used to call Lysol "The Turok Album" because of the Native American on the cover, and the fact that I discovered this album in February 1999 when Turok 2 came out on PC.
Thats what I thought this record was called for a while while still looking for Lysol. Still call it JOE and think the Joe solo record also rules cause of Hands First Flower
Melvins - Hung Bunny/Roman Bird Dog 0942AM 12.10.23 she's really excited about watching the olaf scholz live stream.. bouncing on her seat and everything... has the snacks and her beverages laid out. seems i'm stuck with the melvins to listen to... damn. olaf seems like a good choice of lecturer....
