Hi Diane. I have made this recipe with fresh raspberries and peaches. Some people don't like the seeds in the raspberries but I really like the taste of it. There's also nothing like the taste of fresh peaches in the dead of winter. I like it on vanilla ice cream. Thank You for your recipes.
Would love the homemade Bread recipe, I started making freezer jam when i was 14 yrs old , i will be 59 tomorrow, but thank you dear this brought me back to my teenage years of living on a farm with huge gardens and all homemade cooking baking & freezing.
Thanks for showing us how this is made! My mom used to make this and she died and I thought I’d never know how she made it, now I know! Thank you so much!
Just remember to leave about an inch of head space if you're freezing them so it can expand...otherwise you may end up with a mess to clean up. And nobody's got time for that 😂
Wish I had a FB page just to meet you, but I don’t. I always love your videos. You do such a great job and sometimes I sit (way too long at a time) and binge watch you. You make my heart happy and I learn so much. Be blessed!
My husband and I thoroughlyi enjoy your videos. You're having such a good time! Thank you for sharing your stories and your family recipes with us. I do have your cookbook!
Wonderful video! Question, can anyone tell me how you prepare the jars/lids ahead of time? Do you need to boil them to sterilize or can you just hand wash them really well? Am anxious to give this a try! Thank you MeMe for sharing your recipes with all of us! Love you!!
Yep those look like Callaham's Strawberries..We ate a bunch of those this year. Question: I thought when you put up jams and jellies they would keep indefinately;or is that a different process? Thanks MeMe!
Just to confirm leaving the jelly at room temperature overnight doesn't risk bacteria getting started? What would happen if I refrigerated the jars immediately? Thank you!
