We started our journey from Thal town and decided to go Milam Glacier but due to heavy rainfall & monsoon, it was impossible to go Milam Glacier these days.
We have changed our mind, and suddenly a new plan comes out, let’s go to Pindari Glacier.
That’s how our journey started.
Day 1: Thal to Munsyari (Nightstay in Munsyari)
Day 2: Munsyari to Jaikuni village (Khati)
Pindari Glacier is very beautiful and well known #glacier trek of Kumaun Uttrakhand. This trek is situated in #bageshwar district of #uttrakhand .
This Glacier is located at an altitude of 3600 meters and known as most famous Glacier trek of Kumaun.
You can easily see Nanda kot, Changauch and many other Himalayan peaks from the Glacier Range.
The total distance of Pindari Glacier is around 24-25 kilometres from trekking point (Khati), this Glacier is the source of Pindar River and later #pindarriver Pindar River merges into #alaknanda Alaknanda River at Karnprayag.
