Over the past couple months you guys have been hitting up my inbox with collab requests. However, amongst the shit ton of requests I receive, No name is more frequent than that of Hotel Pools. I’ve been a big fan of Bens work since forever and I’d be lying if I said the thought of collaborating never crossed my mind. Having never participated in a collaboration before, I was initially quite apprehensive and worried that I’d only fuck things up! But after our first exchange of ideas any worries I had where thrown out the window. This dude is a legit maestro and I totally understand why he is one of the big names on here. It was such a trip working with him on this one and hopefully it won’t be the last!
So proud to be premiering it with the Electronic Gems community and I hope you guys dig it as much as I dug working on it.
This track is going to be featured on Stratford Ct’s “Sonus Auri” compilation alongside some of the other dudes you know and love like ADMO, Unfound, ODdling, Forhill and De Lorra. So if you fuck with it, please show some love to Stratford. With your support we can potentially have this shit on wax! 🙏

So, I really like some of your tracks, but I got pissed that you signed to/registered with RepostNetwork. That means RU-vid went and made most of your songs' videos unable to go into Picture-in-Picture mode (where on Android, you can shrink the video and do other stuff on your phone while you watch/listen to the video), including my favorites, because the song is now recognized by and registered on RU-vid, likely because they want you to pay money to use RU-vid Music instead of going Picture-in-Picture for free. I wanted to let out how I felt about this, but at least I have more of a reason to buy your tracks on Bandcamp or Google Play now P.S. This also happened with Hotel Pools and Emil Rottmayer, and now you're with RepostNetwork too

Yeah man, I totally get your frustration and I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused but at the same time I'm sure you understand that for myself and the artists listed above, producing music at a professional level is our main drive in life. I Myself (like everyone else) work a day job and for the past 8 years I have fantasized on a daily basis about quitting that job because my passion has become my primary source of income. In order for me to continue to grow as an artist I need to expand and in this day and age, RU-vid ad revenue is essential for any independent artist who doesn't have the capital provided by a major label. I honestly never thought I would reach the point where my work would even qualify for RU-vid ad revenue, never mind necessitate it. So as you can imagine, this is a very exciting time for me. Once again, I can empathise with your situation and I want you to know that your support, regardless of the format is always appreciated. I'm sorry that your preferred medium has been disrupted by monetization but in order to improve my work and develop more ambitious projects like physical releases and merchandise, This step is necessary.
