The 1st Recipient of the MEmoRiaL (Merl Memorial) Award for Lifetime Achievement in Crossword Construction is Maura Jacobson. Marie Haley presented the Merl snow globe to Maura's husband, Jerry. The first 10 recipients will receive a globe. All recipients will have their name inscribed on the Eagle trophy that was created for this prestigious honor.
