Dearest Boring Old Guy, we hope your health improves. And, thank you for this reminder. May God Bless every soldier. For those of you who don't know what this ceremony is, I am ashamed of you. Take a minute to learn the meaning.
Thank you to all our fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for my very freedom & the freedom of the rest of America. May you Rest with God in his heavenly Kingdom😢❤
I have a best friend who's dream is to be in the Army. Since we were kids it's been his dream. Even with his medical issues, my best friend still holds onto his dream as he waits for the day his dream comes true. Even if the current Army slot he's waiting for is work on the tanks & not actually fight, it hasn't wrecked him in fact in only fueled his flame to join. A brave man, my best friend is.
as a Canadian air cadet, I have learned what soldiers have had to go through, the risks they took the lives they took and the pain they made to not just others but them selves, legends don't want to be legends its not nostalgia it is PTSD its not a memory it is a burden, raising my hand for 10 minutes isn't even an atom of what they have had to do, respect and honor from all over Canada and the Philippines.
So beautiful, the tomb of the unknown. We might not know you, but you are remember. Thank you for your service. The most BEAUTIFUL veterans cemetary that I have even seen was The D-day ceremony in Normandy France. There is just a sense of peace there. To anyone that has died for the peace of others, may you find a beautiful peace in heaven. You will always be remembered. ❤❤ Please remember to respect the dead, for one day you will also be dead.
Day is done, gone the sun, from the lakes, from the hills, from the sky, All is well, safely rest, God is nigh. Fading light dims the sight and a star gems the sky gleaming bright from afar drawing near falls the sky. Thanks and praise for our days neath the sun neath the stars neath the sky, As we go this we know, God is nigh.
Meanwhile at the American Military Cemetery in Margraten, our Royal Netherlands Air Force flew the missing man formation, honouring those who gave their lives for our freedom, as they do every year.
