I would love to go to GraceLand a Dream of mine .I was only 10 when I first heard Elvis on Radio I thought I had been struck by lightning and so did the rest of the world he was breathtaking where did this beautiful person come from so from then on till this day I have loved Elvis and followed his music and his life . Elvis week is awesome and Graceland is absolutely beautifiul as it was Elvis's beloved home that he loved so much . .i go every year August .once you go once you'll want to go back many many times .
I hope to go to Graceland and see it one day. I never worshiped Elvis because he's was human just like the rest of us faults and all. But I loved his music and still do. There will never be anyone close to the talent that Elvis had with his music /stage appearance or ever will be ! Still love that marvelous voice and he had it until the day he died. RIP Elvis.

Someone take ME. I really want to see this as I was too young . I was 10 when Elvis did all his movies. And singing in huge gospel evangelical revivals. I think I was 12 when he was in the service? And I was on the road doing the Rick Nelson circuit in the 70's and Jerry Lewis Telethons. Met so many famous people. Some day I will see you Elvis Presley. With God and the Angels.😇

For the people who got to go to Graceland at all, you are SO lucky!!!!!!!!!!! That is on my bucket list of things I want to visit, I am only in my 20's. But still I have been an Elvis fan since I was a baby, literally. I wish I would have been born when Elvis was, just once .. so I could've met him.

I've never been to Graceland . I've always wanted to go visit Elivs' home . Maybe someday . I hope they haven't changed too much stuff since the built that new shopping complex across the street from Graceland . I don't know ..., but I still want to visit someday before I leave this world .

Wow!!! U really believe in all that? He would never leave his daughter behind...and his fans, i don't think he is still alive. The life style he was living, pills, food and god knows what else...finally caught up with him, in the end.... It was expected, by so many. Elvis saved everything-there was stuff in the attic' in the garages' in the outbuildings, as well as stuff scattered among family and friends. It is not true that they sold off most of his stuff. All of the furniture is original' and most of the nic nacs . I found it well worth both the time and money and I'm on a fixed income. I'm saving now for a return trip.
savedbygrace719 , I've never got to visit Graceland yet . So do you get to go up in the attic and places like that ? I don't live too far . I just live in GA and I hear about people that visit from all over the world . That's a shame that I've never got to go visit Graceland , but hopefully someday.
@@bonniebrown6960 this aug gone was my 8th year to Graceland .I go every Elvis week.It takes my breath away Graceland ..You are not allowed upstairs .That was Elvis's private quarters ,his place to get away when he needed time on his own.Lisa has kept that the same now in memory of her dad.It was his private quarters and so she wanted it to remain that way.,any way the stairs wouldnt be able to with hold the amount of people that go through that home every year.I do hope you get to go one day to Graceland.Its an amazing place and so many things to take in while on the tour.xx

I knew that they didn't allow anyone up stairs in his bedroom , but since I've never been there before I didn't know if there were other places up stairs that you were allowed to go . I think seeing Lisa's baby bed might have made me think that . I assume her baby bed is not upstairs right ? They were just showing a picture of it and it's places some where else? Just wondering. 😉 I hope I get to go too someday . ❤
Oh and also I guess I'll go ahead and ask... what does it say on the Eternal Flame plaque ? I just can't see it . I was trying to read it , but it was just too small for me to make it out .

Finally went to Graceland this month from Hawaii, long trip, loved Graceland it's beautiful, not so small as people say, have to remember a big part of the house is Elvis, private section, we also went to his birthplace, from such humble beginings, so poor, to what Graceland meant to Elvis, he had more homes, but Graceland is special, beautiful grounds, many buildings, Memphis was good to me and my family, I love Elvis, and I can see how he loved Graceland, my daughter, was not a Elvis fan like me, but tells all the time she loves that house, it's beautiful !!!
What a amazein man,yes very different from other stars, he waz 1 hell of star that will shine 4eva, sad how it all turned out in de end, can kinda understand his feelings of trust and being aloan, and de feeling of takein Cear of everyone and being judge and no time just to be him, so easy to lose 1 self! Elvis had lived in more beautiful homes bathrooms were more room hand modern why GRACELAND. HIS bathroom upstairs small hand no shower alone shower in GRACELAND was in the tub. SOMETHING about MEMPHIS he liked I guess. THE ranch part was nicer for animals. I DROVE by GRACELAND many times when husband was stationed in NAVY base. IT looked so quiet and peaceful. Never saw inside I don't think there were tours then. IT was pretty private. That was a long time ago. I was very young and with a baby living MILITARY LIFE. I don't remember or knew as much about ELVIS then did so as I got older.
i was so surprised how small graceland was when i went there,,,,,,, pictures make it look so grand and large, it really wasn't the additional buildings yes, but the house itself isn't at all

anyone see that ghost like figure unless it's a shadow of another person but you can see right through the man where Elvis Mom's picture is on the floor at the right desk. That is Vernon's desk and also where he did the video interview for Elvis Last Concert. What's weird us almost all people have captured ghost images even one that looks like Elvis sitting at the desk and many others. But I just spotted that man off to the right in what was Vernon's office take a look. Hope the person who took this can tell us if that guy was next to her but either way you can see right through his hands body unreal.
