Memories of Zanzibar is the creation of a Zanzibar-born brother and sister team who studied and lived abroad, returning to Zanzibar in 1996 to make their dream a reality. The business started in a tiny room of 9 square metres and moved to it's present location in April 2000. A veritable treasure trove in historic Stone Town, Memories of Zanzibar offers an exciting range of local crafts, exclusive garments, spices, books, tasteful cushion covers, bedcovers and wall hangings, jewellery, kikoi garments and sarongs.
