Memories ... 

Papa Dave grew up as one of a family of 10 children, when a neighbour died leaving an orphan, his mum adopted the child.
His dad, a miner, suffered lung disease and life was hard. The kids shared everything - bed, baths, clothes, but had the happiest time.
Sue said that there was one thing he wanted when they married and set up home: "All he wanted was a drawer of his own, it didn't matter if there was only a comb and bit of string in it, but that was his and nobody, but nobody, opened it apart from Dave."
When she opened her Happy House, Mama was determined every child should have their own clothes and personal posessions, but they share bedrooms so other children, inevitably, have access.
So she decided that memory boxes, one for each child, were the answer.
They could keep messages and photos from sponsors and other special items of their choice in their memory box and as they are all kept in the office they are the only person allowed access to their own box and nobody may look inside without their consent.
