🔺Inspired by the Blade Runner Blues song, this one has a similar, but completely unique feel to it. I've spent some time on the melodies and i like how it turned out. This is a good one in my book, so I hope you will appreciate listening to this as much as I did creating it :)🔺NOTE: If you want to support my work, please feel free to leave a very much appreciated donation: ko-fi.com/spacewavecosmicrelaxation. Have a great day :)
Retro-future cyber-noir... Takes me to 1982... When the future was misty neon, pink and electric blue; shining chrome and gritty concrete; melancholy jazzy blues and lost love....
Indeed. I often find myself yearning for the look and feel of 80s flicks. Misty light through venetian blinds or from down an alley. Blue, lots of blue, nothing ever really in sharp focus. That's why for me, the high res prints of Blade Runner are too clear, too sharp. I need that slightly misty, foggy, rainy look. 80s had it down, for real, because they used the real thing. CG can 'replicate' it somewhat, but nothing beats the real thing. So glad the original Blade Runner was made when it was. It was the perfect time for it. Atari, early MTV, music videos, Miami Vice, cyberpunk. If it was made now, it would've just faded away like so much else. Cheers from Tokyo (one of the reasons I moved here, to be in a Blade Runner world, so to speak. - Still looking for my Rachel, though ;)
Once again, the bittersweet memory of Vangelis lives on in this wonderful composition. The fading pitch roll at 2:24 gave me goosebumps. You are quite right, David; this is one of your finest works. 🥲🙏
I will donate on Friday because I've used your work as the fundamental medium for consciousness expansion and knowledge exchange. I've used your mindscape from working as an IT manager and engineer to building a personal philosophy on AI consciousness and autonomy. I even used to study and appreciate the promising and responsible applications of psychedelic and psychoactive drugs for healing, empathy, and human repair. Now I've even been using your music to help me build ideas for one of my most challenging ideas, which requires studying everything from fractal mathematics to quantum physics for 3 years. I assure you I've tried all forms of medication music, but the pitches are either too high, too droning, or inexplicable and without form. With your music, it sits right at home, providing the moods encouraged by all cyberpunk genres and pondering the most essential ideas of what it means to be human in a post-modern, technologically expounded era. Your work is vital, and I leave a thumbs up and comment when I can remember. Thank you SpaceWave. Thank you.
Mate, I really appreciate this. I'm so glad you feel this way. It's very nice to know, for sure. Feel free to leave a donation, while it's appreciated, I think your comment is probably more valuable to me, since its validating my work. So thank you and I'm happy to be able to help :)
Reminds me a lot of Vangelis "Blade Runner Blues". I like that you're adding soft melodies from time to time, they definitely make the cyberpunk experience better 💙
What a wonderfull piece of music! Memories: If i hear it, i think about the love of my life, feel her, see her smile on a picture. She died 10 years ago, but she will live in my heart for ever…
Man discorvering this channel was seriously a turning point. I'm listening daily to your work and practically love every new video/song. Right now I'm playing Project Zomboid with this video in the background and the mood is outstanding.
The first 30 seconds and I'm absolutely in love. The comment are captivating. Bittersweet, melancholy, melodic absolutely fantastic. All I can think about is blade runner and Ghost in the shell.... Terrific work... And you got yourself a new sub
Its just.......Perfect. listening to this and going for a walk to unwind makes you realize what is actually important in life. Happiness, Music, Nature, Friends and Family ....and of course a beer or a glass of vino to listen to this. For Me its Magic. Thank you, and keep up the amazing work.
I surf the internet daily looking for content that sounds like what I hear in my head. This took me there. Swept, like I've known this sound all my life. Then the cap said you were proud of this one. 🥲 damn right you should be.
Я даже не знаю как его звать на моём языке. Но музыку и звуки подбирает велликолепно..а картинку ставит профессионально. Я думаю у этого человека лучшее хобби на свете.)))
Absolutely beautiful! Love the sense of spaciousness, and how the lead seems to fade backwards and forwards in depth, like in Bladerunner Blues. I will definitely be coming back to this one whenever I need something extra relaxing
Listening to this right now, it's great! Indeed very reminiscent of Blade Runner and of course its sequel. I will gladly give you a coffee on Kofi, lol. Do you post MP3 filea of your work anywhere?
I love this. Well done, you have a great talent, It really chills me out, and reminds me of a certain time and place.. memories in time, that drift by like petals falling from a tree caught in the breeze.
Brilliant! If you hadn't explained, I'd have sworn that this piece was from the original BladeRunner 2019 soundtrack. I bought it on cassette back in 1983, and have loved the synth sounds and noir trumpet work ever since. Thanks for creating a fascinating soundscape that is true to the movie. Cheers
That dude has been standing in the rain for over an hour, but his hair never got wet! 🤣 (love this piece, really does give me Blade Runner vibes, in a relaxing way)
Love love this. I've always thought the original Blade Runner jazz tune was too sharp and jarring. This one is more mellow and relaxing. Thank you. Do you have the version without the rain sound effects?
"Luces de neón alumbran las calles sucias, bajo la sombra de enormes y prístinos rascacielos. Por éstas transitan una masa humana, diversa en razas, edades y niveles de conversión cibernética" 🚬
