@@Efesus67 I second this. It has a great feature where you can literally get a bird’s eye view of the palace when you use the eagle. It also has a great photo mode where you can get the loci “popping” with the depth of field effect
Counter Strike would be a nice game for memory palace since a lot of the maps have call outs associated with specific spots on the map already. So by playing the game you are already building a memory palace.
Here from Answers In Progress! Thank you for helping Sabrina with her slice of Pi! And thanks for demonstrating mind palaces. I never considered using video games before.
this video is amazing, thanks! its a shame you dont get more views. you presented everything so well. i struggle a ton with memory and learned about palaces when i read moonwalking with einstein. found your video through a blog online and have learned a lot. time to start making some palaces!!!!!!!!
I totally love these “breaking it down” videos where you explain the process in a systematic way! Since beginning my own memorizing journey I realize I have developed the same process myself. Watching this video I marvel at the ease with which our minds can create memories once we know the brain builds them! This is so much fun!! 🎉
What I really like about u That u never run out of memory related ideas and ur videos are always unique, useful, and very enjoyable Keep up the great work!
I definitely would call this a Memory Journey (utilizing several macrostations in a pathway)! For games that are highly utilized for MP/MJ, I would recommend SIMS, Overwatch, Maple Story 2, and VR spaces
It is really funny, as this is really video happened to me by accident. I remember that I need to read a book in high school. So I was listening to the audio version, and at one point was playing Mario Odyssey, and now every time I come back to the seaside kingdom I remember part of that book :D
You seem like a really good reader. Could you please suggest me some books to read from your library. I've watched them many times in your intros. Specifically that are really mind bending, math related, brainstorming. Also would help if you suggest some underrated fiction too

Hi Nelson, can you make a video on how to play the "Simon" game. I can't remember colors past 11. Do you have tips on how to be great at it? Thank you.
@@NelsonDellis my method is the following : I have many objects/characters that I have prepared in advance. They are either blue, green, yellow or red. I have my memory palace and I put my characters/objects in them. The problem is that it's really fast (to me) and it requires a lot of focus !!! I don't have a very good processing speed in this game.... Is this the good method?
@@Makiaveliiste I just assign a single digit to each color, then I’m just memorizing a sequence of numbers. A sequence of 8 colors for me compresses to one image! And I just place them in a memory palace. What makes it even easier is that each round you have to say the whole sequence from the beginning. So each round you review more and more.
Can you give some tips to how to achieve Photographic memory? Like example i read a paper with lots of documents and i want to remember all things by imgine the paper. Is this possible?
I learned 2200 chinese characters over the last year. I really tried to make memory palaces and mneumonics work, but over time they helped less and less. I guess there is an upper limit on some aspects, too much data or too regularly learning new and interfering information, I don't know.
I feel you missed a trick choosing places arbitrarily for the palace, could've used a speedrun route as lots of things are already named and there are entertaining videos you can watch to refresh the locations
@@NelsonDellis My eyes are wide open when watching your videos :) May I ask you how many locations should I have to start off my training in memory league. I want to train for images and words only. Thank you.
Hello sir, I hope you are fit and healthy, sir, sometimes medical student should quickly memorizes those hard books in exams and have no choice but to memorize line by line,is there any way to do that?
Hi, Nelson I am from India now I decided to prepare for the Indian administrative services. So I have to cover nearly 7 subjects but can it be possible to complete 7 in six months by using memory techniques, especially mind palace?
