Thank you so much for the information. I am a Giant Brain aneurysm survivor. In May 2020 I suffered a Giant brain aneurysm,33mm. I had emergency coiling which saved my life. It has been almost two years now and I feel mostly recovered. I still struggle with Neuro Fatigue and have gained about 30 lbs which I’m working on through exercise. I am an airline pilot by trade. 30 years flying for a major airline mostly international Europe and South America. The FAA has a two year mandatory wait from time of aneurysm to be able to reapply for clearance to fly. All my doctors are confident in my ability to return to work. I’ve taken numerous cognitive tests and done well an all of them. They were administered by MAYO Clinic in Jacksonville by Neurologist Dr. Servin. God willing I get back in the air it might help others to study my cognitive recovery.

I had three aneurysms and had them clipped in February of 2019 and I have and still do suffer from memory loss. I also have problems with pronouncing some words at times. Sometimes I know what I want to say but it comes out totally different. I suffered from headaches for a year and a half all day every day it was horrible. I can't do some things that I use to do but I do the best that I can.Today I'm just thankful to be alive and learned to accept that the person that went in for surgery is not the same person that came out.

Yes, Indeed I couldn’t have said it better. The statement you said was exactly as my aneurysms ( 3 ) has left me. Cloudy memory loss & trying to say what I’m thinking most often doesn’t come out right. I don’t have as much energy as I once had and I find myself thinking about how to make my left foot work in stepping down a small set of steps. Makes me feel kinda messed up. But I’m truly grateful to be alive. Almost 1 1/2 years ago my life changed but God was watching over me. I wish you well and day by day everyone tells me. Good Luck To You & God Speed.

Thank you yes useful information!! I am a rupture aneurysm survivor, over six months! Out of the blue, middle of the night, symptoms hit me hard. Er diagnosis was one rupture and 2 un ruptured aneurysms! Are flight to Ft Worth hospital, and immediate coiling saved my life. Yes I had paralysis rx side that resolved within days! Love the mind diet information. I regularly exercise on a total gym frequently plus have followed the nutrition menu for several months. Have any of your physicians leading this research, noted about biofeed therapy? I have been getting biofeed therapy for four monthand discussed the benefit I see with my internal medicine physician! Feeling great at 71: 95% back to normal life

When I suffered a SAH in 1993... my family had very little help... I just 'enjoyed' the time off from work. Returned 3½ months later... only to be told I had to take a 'two week' vacation. So I went to Denmark and Germany by myself.

Hello sir. My friend had an aneurysm surgery a few days ago. Right now he is still in hospital. He can walk and talk, even use his phone. However he is extremely confused. He can read but can't understand the things he read. He mostly speaks randomly and doesn't recognize people. He completely forgot his brother and mother. He remembers some key events and certain people. His personality changed. The way he talks and his gestures are completely different. He sometimes uses made up words which have no meaning. He says that he is very confused. I had to ask the same question multiple times to get an answer. He usually answers with some random sentences. Weird questions are common. Do you think he will get better in time? The doctors performed surgery 5 days ago. They also took a piece of brain sample for some tests. I want my friend back...

@@kaitengou hello, my friend is much better now after a year. His brain functions are mostly normal, and he remembers all the people. Sometimes he forgets certain words, but it is ok, we are there to help him. Sometimes it is hard for him to read long sentences. So he is struggling to read books or work in a job that requires too much thinking. The short term memory is still a bit of a problem. The worst thing is, nobody knows why he had an brain aneurysm. Tests gave us no explanation. He has to use 4 different pills and a syringe every day. A week ago a blood clot traveled to his lungs and he was hospitalized. Now he is better.

Sorry to ask more but did the doctor mention anything regarding your friend asking random weird questions, or the state of being confused?
