You could play most of his albums song for song!!! Hes a real OG like Paul wall and 8ball mjg trick daddy just to name a few! Yes I'm a 90s baby graduated 02 .. T.I FLOW IS smooth and can understand it .
This is when NY still looked like NY, MIA had they own swag, ATL, Cali, N.O all had their own culture in hip hop. Now everybody look and sound the same.
Autotune homie. It started with Wayne & Kanye. Then, Future decided to use that shit on EVERY fuckin' song. Now, that's what 90% of these cornballs do. I stay near Atlanta, GA & trust, all of these "local rappers", sound like watered down versions of Future. Autotune every damn song, rap 'bout lean, bitches & money they ain't got. #Fuckery101 YO I had some muthafuckaz mixing DELSYM with Sprite, and tryin' to call that shit LEAN. I had to inform these remedial muthafuckaz, that they were drinking some $3 cold medicine, not prometh/codeine.
When TI was Tip..he went hard and & Trick was fine ..I like they went to each other's hoods for the video..man I'm glad I grew up to music like this ..today's generation will mainly only hear about lean and pills

That's crazy cuz if we rocked that type of stuff here in Florida we'd be called lame. But I never knocked it tho. I always liked New York swag for some reason
The fitted cap era was lit....T.I. the pioneer of the angled cap tho. Damn I miss these days when clothes fit comfortable. Soon rappers gon be in leggins. SMH, most already are.
Nobody would've ever known who tf Memphis Bleek was if not for Trick Daddy & T.I. 😆 Hell they should've just cut Memphis Bleek's verse out because nobody remembers 1 damn word he says anyway 😆 He didn't really contribute to the song, he was just another dude in the video 😆😂🤣
Jay did songs with Silkk the Shocker and Juvenile in '98/'99. And Cam did songs with Silkk and UGK in '98/'99 as well. This wasn't the first time north and south collabed
When niggas dress masculine before all this suspect shit if you was in high-school back in 2003 there was no room for that shit. Nothing but rap for the streets.
MrLesanecrooks3 Truth when I first heard this song on the radio I was riding in my car 🎧💉👂🎼🎶🔥💣🔥💣🧨🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤👀 I swore this was Trick Daddy song because of his verse
See....this generation can't even make a video like this. The rough neighborhood, the drug lord. These things barely exist anymore. And if they still do...its on a WAY smaller scale and done completely sloppy. I feel sorry for Chicago. Those kids killing each other for NOTHIN. No ones making money..just nothin.
Amen, homie. Folks out for themselves nowadays. Ain't no more REAL artists. No more "If I eat, we ALL eat" type of folks. No more hard bars or real lyrics. Just cornballs in women's clothes, singing on Autotune, dancing around in tight ass sweaters & skinny jeans. Rapping about ex girlfriends & Twitter beef. Fuck outta here. That's why I still listen to 90s/early 2000s artists/rap. Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, Jigga, Pac, Biggie, Pun/Fat Joe, EM, Dipset, Budden, Grafh, Royce 5'9'', etc... that 96-06 era ... best 10 years of rap & we ain't ever gettin' that shit back lol ...
Still listening 2019 and on and on. I never considered myself a Memphis Bleek fan, but I know FIRE when I hear it and this right here is F I R E. All three verses go Hard As F_ck.
"Say the wrong thang and get ya back blow round here...cause gangsters rep they hood by the zone round here". -TI- MY shit from old school TIP. .....Westside BAnkhead Zone 1 representer! !!!!!!! BAnkhead Court til the death of me!
Mann, when T.I. was nice! I always wished that they had someone from the west on this joint. It would've been perfect to see someone reppin the East, South, and west. Overall, I bumped this song hard when it came out. Even had it as my ringtone lol I miss the good days of hip hop 😔
This is the cut! This song will never grow old to me. "Trick Daddy" laid some of "the game" down! He killed it! Although my livelihood is completely different from when I was a teenager living in the hood, I have no problem when a rapper spits the truth over a hard beat.
Memphis Bleek had the potential to be one of the top artist in hip hop/rap. Still had a decent career but I feel like he had what it took to be even bigger.
If he had it he would have got it. He did exactly what his ability and work ethic allowed. He even said, J use to have to chase after him to come to the studio. Another lazy artist. But he’s in J’s will, so he’s good
@@eq7398 probably, but this song was nice. A lot of ppl would not have made the radio if it were not for the big homie. That’s what big homies do. Tony Yayo comes to mind. If it were not for 50 would he have been on the radio 🤷🏿♂️
Seee the difference is you know they all strapped but they don’t need to have them pointing in your face to draw you into the video. Man has music changed 🙄 was refreshing watching this
Lol gotta roll with the times but ya im with u. I cant with them foreal ass skinny as jeans lol hell no. But regular loose fit never go out of style. Pants and shirts. Just sayn...
Even though this is Bleek’s songs this track always had that southern vibe to it from the hook to the beat even without tip or trick on it still felt like it belonged to them and not bleek
