saw them live a few days during the Rise Up Tour and when they played this song the crowd went so hard and it sounded exactly like the recording it was amazing probably one of my favorite concert moments of all time
"If any of you wants to serve me, then follow me. Then you'll be where I am, ready to serve at a moment's notice. The Father will honor and reward anyone who serves me."- John 12:26
im gonna leave it here , Jesus payed the price for our sin's . accept him . aknowledge your a sinner and be covered by the blood of Jesus through baptism . and have a relationship with him . come back to him . he was great and his love has no boundaries. ✝️ Yahusha . Amen
This band was probably the first band that got me into metal. Nowadays I listen the heavier stuff like Infant Annihilator and Dying Fetus. It's always good to come back to your roots, though.
@@Optropicraft what? ask a so called 'trve' metaller if this is metal and he will punch you in the face. Metalcore is closer to hardcore punk than it is to metal.
For Me, I Went In Reverse. Started With Doom, Death, Melodic And Black Metal. (The Black Dahlia Murder, Job For A Cowboy, Killswitch Engage, Cradle of Filth) Then Progressed To Post-Hardcore. (Attack, Attack, Famous Last Words, The Word Alive, BlessThe Fall).
Got sent a message to come here- usually I ignore them but I do recognize the name and I hafta say I love it! These guys just need to come to Dayton, Ohio or close by and we'll all be good!
Michael Peltier "If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him." John 12:26 NASB I'm not really sure what Dragon Readers intentions were with quoting that verse for this song, but I mean it's not completely irrelevant either. I'm sure you got that in that section Jesus was foretelling His death to some Greeks that were looking to meet Him. He reminds them that in order for God's plan to be fulfilled He must die, of course as a substitute, to receive punishment that we deserve, for those who put their trust in Him and also partially reminds us of How we will have relation with Him and be saved. The verse he quoted is that reminder and it's clear that Matty is expressing his struggle to God which is perfectly fine and a blessing that we can express ourselves through art. I guess Dragon Eater was reminding us that, and Matty, that by putting our trust in Him He will honor us and walk us through the journey and struggle. Which i imagine Matty understands but we will always have a struggle, doing the right thing usually isn't easy after all and finding release through music is perfectly acceptable in God's eyes, especially if we're directing it all to Him, no matter how raw and honest it may be.
"don't listen to them they have dark themes" said my family who are Christian. I am listeing to this and YOU CAN'T STOP ME! (not many people will get the reference XD)
@neonpurplexx I guess many people think that screamos sound all the same but once you really listen to the lyrics you can see that they are all very different
What I hate is that people say that this music sucks and the old stuf is better blah blah blah. Everyone has there own taste in music, if they like this stuff, don't judge them. Stfu and stick to what YOU like.
