She literally said women can be independent and build career to an extent why she didn't said that for men too, she's just buttering her male audience. If she has so much believe in her opinion than its high time for her to leave her career,get married and have kids and stay at home, she follows Islam so she needs to wear burkha, hijab aswell and be a good housewife to her husband of 4-5 wives.

Seriously people are suffering because of feminism? People who are privileged don’t realize the difficulties women without such privilege face in the society. She has just misunderstood feminism for misandry. Feminism is about having equality of all genders and about having a choice. A woman can become a nurturing mother or a career oriented lady. She can also do both( though it is very hard). So can men. A man can become the nurturer or a career oriented person or both. It just depends on what the individual chooses in his/ her life. Being a feminist has got nothing to do with hating men. I don't know why some people think that way. It is sad. As human beings men and women need each other, just like any other species. We don't need to be bringing down each other.Each of us have our own strengths and weaknesses. Being a nurturer does not make you weak. Being a career woman does not give you power to insult other people. It is all about your choice. Feminism is not about hating men. It never was and it never will be. Feminism in india has definitely made things much more progressive and better for women , she would not have been able to do her job without the help of Feminism and the women who gave their blood , sweat and tears towards this movement. What I've noticed throughout the podcast is, she doesn't know the difference between feminism and pseudo feminism. She's constantly talking about pseudo feminism here where as real feminism isn't about forcing women to work, to not having kids, to not being a mother or nurturer. It's about having CHOICE, if you wanna be a housewife, to have kids etc then that's okay but if you wanna be independent, participate in equal roles in house, help your man in finances, don't wanna have kids or even don't wanna get married, that should be OKAY too. Secondly, there are plenty of reasons why a woman should be independent. Inshort, because life is uncertain so let's just not make a big fuzz about it. Thirdly, there are lot of pressure on men too "to be a protector, be a provider, don't cry cuz that's weak etc etc" and it's all due to patriarchy. Patriarchy is not only bad for women but for men too. Fourthly, I've also noticed that she has lot of focus on only one thing that's "men should have masculine energy, being a provider, protector and women should be at home, being a nurturer, take care of house etc" like she literally talked about this over and over again. Men and women both have MASCULINE and FEMININE energies and energies have no gender. Both energies should be balanced in both of us but still one energy is dominant in most of the people. If a man is caring, emotional, loving that doesn't make him a less man and vice versa. They've also lot of pressure from society to being a provider and protector and nothing wrong in that but let's just help our other halves nah. Men should too help women in raising children and helping in household work and women should too help him in finances so let's not create a big deal and understand the real feminism. Lastly, she said "become independent but only at certain extent" okay but what about her? Why can't she dance at certain extent, wear revealing clothes at certain extent, go in clubs and parties at certain extent? I have lived a life where I believed that it was 'normal' for every girl to grow up to be kind and nurturing. That is not a bad thing, everyone should be compassionate towards those around you and children as they are vulnerable. however, what if i do not want to be mother? Am i any less of a woman? In a country where 33% women face Domestic Violence (NFHS-5) and lack of empowerment, restricting them to the kitchen just as a backlash to radical feminism (and not genuine feminism at least in a way that I follow it) is not right. Radical feminism is harming the society yes where women who want to pursue motherhood/ home-making as full-time are looked down upon even by women. That is not right. Feminism should be about equality of opportunity (and not outcome) as well as supporting everyone's choices. Also, toxic masculinity and oppressive patriarchy are harmful. The only solution is moderation. People need to respect all work (paid/ unpaid/ inside or outside home) and respect equality of human dignity.
