Many are mourning the loss of DJ and Pro Dancer Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss.
His suicide the past week adds another to the heartbreaking long list of male musicians who were struggling eternally with mental health issues.
Men, and women in the music business profession, we have to make mental health a part of our daily routine. Wives and husbands, friends and family of musicians must check in with us often. It’s not the fans’ job. They are being entertained.
I believe that in the music business and life you must be spiritually grounded in the Most High, especially during these times. If you don’t have a connection with the god of the Scriptures, you need to have something or someone professional on your team helping you work things out. You are not alone nor do you have to be. There is no shame in in getting help with your mind. Be well. -Matty
