"Men" is the most ominous horror movie title I've ever heard

Just been to see this, two people walked out the cinema and I had to walk home just to process what I just watched and I’m not even easily disturbed by films. Definitely worth watching, makes me wonder how it’s only a 15.

I think the reviews are misusing the word "Masterpiece" as it pertains to this story. It was great to hear and look at. But that was about all.

A24 needs to get with Don and cast Rory as the Tall Man in a phantasm reboot or alternate dimension sequel... Rory is the only guy i see pulling it off.. funny thing is the names.. Rory Kinnier and Rory Guy (Angus Scrimm)... I have a feeling this might be the movie to place next to my collection of Phantasm movies... it looks like its gonna be right up there in lines of WTF did i just watch movies

Most of the comments praising this preview must be bots or something. No part of this preview was scary intense or really even that interesting. In fact the mysterious hand from the other side of the door has been done so many times that it's not even close to being scary.

Saw this last night. It was both beautiful and repulsive. I highly recommend.

There is so much to this movie but also not enough. But it leaves you kinda fucked up and definitely going wtf, so have fun.

A film titled after the superior sex and puts women in their place, abeit a bit dramatic because women. No, I haven't seen this. I'm just gonna take a guess and say it's about some derranged serial killer, who is a man and perhaps black, and he does a bunch of horrible things, gets sent to prison, and has a whole fangirl group out there wanting to marry him for it and another half of women observers who put themselves in the situation of the victims constantly because they are the center of the universe.

the last half hour is just..... wow. Some spoilers sort of but not specifics... Don't go to it high you may never sleep lmao I have no idea what it all means. Some allegories to the power of birthing women have, maybe hints of women not appreciating fully the devastating effects it can have on some men as well so they should wield that more responsibly and not flaunt their sexuality but at the same time its a burden they never asked for to be so valued in that manner, kind of a cruel joke by God or nature or whatever on both sexes to be vulnerable but powerful to the other in different ways, visual imagery of mans inability and desperation to be able to continue lineage but cannot without women. Some maybe demonic elements. Some biblical references of the forbidden fruit of eve. There is just so much going on i have no idea what it really all is supposed to mean. It feels like a personal hell she is going through because of something that happend in her past but also things that happened in a supposed purgatory or mental episode are visible by a friend so something happened in reality. What that is who knows......This is definitely a film that will garner deep discussions. Then obviously the main question of why the same actor for every character, to somewhat signify that women see all men as being the same essentially?

Bit of a crummy movie IMO. I liked when Alex Garland made a carefully crafted movie about a reclusive tech CEO and artificial intelligence. Annihilation was not great, but the ending in the lighthouse was jaw-dropping. Thought the first third of Men was interesting, but it lost its way. The body horror stuff was grotesque, not for me.
