I was a Production assistant (assigned to Tommy Lee Jones) on this movie, my name is in the credits for the NY unit - Kenyon Noble 😊. I’m still in the business as a DGA Assistant Director.
CAMEOS: 7:09 Johnny Knoxville of "Jackass" 9:44 Nick Cannon (Pigtail girl at the post office) The director's daughter, Chloe 14:05 (Beatboxing alien) The late rapper Biz Markie 16:11 (Ponytail dude putting wig on alien) Legendary Academy Award-winning makeup artist Rick Baker, who worked on this movie as well!! 26:01 (Glasses guy in the middle) The director himself, Barry Sonnenfeld! And the girl sitting next to him is Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria. EDIT: I'm ONLY mentioning the ones that they didn't notice or see.
I just noticed This is one of the few movies that was released after 9/11 to still have the twin towers in it When Jay and his partner are talking to the flower from the Worm, you can see the towers behind them
The actor playing Zed is also in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. Other Will Smith movies include Enemy of the State, Wild, Wild West, I, Robot, Suicide Squad, Bad Boys For Life, Ali, Concussion and the upcoming Bad Boys: Ride or Die. The actress playing Laura, Rosario Dawson, is also in Sin City, Alexander, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Zombieland: Double Tap and Star Wars
14:07 The beat boxing alien is actually a rapper named Biz Markie who grew in popularity during the 80's thanks to his beatboxing. Probably his most famous song is "Just a friend".
14:22 The postal worker with the mustache and ponytail, was a member of the special makeup effects team that did all of the makeup and practical effects for all three of the MIB movies.
How do you guys not have more than 149k subs?! This is one of the most entertaining reaction channels I've ever seen, I've been hooked on you guys for a while. Keep up the great work!
1:51 - PETER GRAVES portrays the presenter of fictional TV show 'Misteries in History'. He also portrayed pilot who suffers food poisoning in spoof disaster movie 'Airplane' (1980), and James Phelps, leader of the team in sixties TV spy show, 'Mission Impossible; (1967 - 1973).
This men in black is one of my favorites for the simple fact of the postal worker scene my mom who passed away recently in January was a postal worker she was good everyone she delivered mail to feel majority of them loved her she was kind and respectful they would give her gifts and stuff she was awesome I love that scene especially when we would watch it together and that scene would come up an inside joke with us I miss her so much I love this movie❤❤❤❤
She is, but the paler complexion and hair in this film make her look a lot more innocent and adorable compared to the dommy mommy goddess she was in Alexander and Trance.
I'm surprised you didn't notice agent M 15:05😆 never mind 🤣 what do you have against Burger King?! 21:35 I was proud of Jay trying to figure this out with a lot of effort, but at the very end of this.... it just goes to show you that it doesn't always pay over overthink😅😂
This was the film that taught me to not go into a movie sequel at the cinema in high hopes of greatness. When you do that, it makes watching sequels a lot more enjoyable. The last time it happened to me it was Deadpool 2.
The craziest part about the statue of liberty being included is this film came out in 2002. So the statue was likely receiving a lot of security upgrades since 9/11 the year before. Maybe it was men in black business all along! Crazy how now we wont see any of our monuments or anything that shows pride in our country hardly ever. I miss it to be honest. I loved seeing the fireworks during the 4th of july celebration in the sandlot film. The statue of liberty in other films like ghostbusters 2. The glimps of the twin towers in spiderman (2001). The empire state building in most of the spiderman films. The golden gate bridge in rise of the planet of the apes (2011) and more. It just invokes a genuine sign of respect for our nation. One of my favorite lines from spiderman 2 is when the new yorkers say something along the lines of "this is brooklyn! you mess with one of us you mess with all of us!!". Does anyone else have a favorite line in a film that shows respect for our nation?
Rest in peace Michael Jackson 1958-2009 Peter Graves 1926-2010 Rip Tom 1931-2019 Biz Markie 1964-2021 Jack Kehler 1946-2022 Steven Weinberg 1955-2023 and Peter Spellos 1954-2023
glad you enjoyed it. a lot of people dont like this movie (i can certainly see the reasons) but i think its okay. the third one is even better than this one and is really underrated imo. cant wait to see your reaction to that one
I'M OFFENDED! 16:16 Burger king fries in 2002 were the Elite fry of the fast food world. That was before they screwed them up twice for health reasons, but after they fixed the bad soggy fries of the 90's. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and thick but not too thick.
Here is my question: Was it MIB that put out the videos? If not who was and how did they get out? How was it so accurate? Do they have a leak? Or did they put out the videos on purpose but make them look really bad so if anyone overheard or seen anything they would put it off to them silly videos and some nerds Cosplaying
2 is my fave 😍 and zerlena scares me 😅😮😢😢jay fell in love with the alien mom he couldn't protect her so he and others watch over her (the daughter)since she was on earth 💔 😢
I enjoy the reactions themselves I just think the intros are just a lot. Literally from 00:00 to 01:39 is just a lot. Easily could’ve been a 45 second intro without all the hectic stuff.
15:05 The best cameo of the whole movie was Michael Jackson. I was surprised the first time when I saw Michael in MIB II. Glad that you guys did an MIB II reaction a few days after MIB I.
The dude reading the newspaper at the entrance is either an all-powerful alien or packing a dozen Noisy Crickets on him to not give a damn about the invasion, lol.
@@williambryan3346You mean the only 3 movies that exist, right? The MIB trilogy starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. There was never a movie after that. They definitely didn't try and make some modern Hollywood post-Trump British MIB. I mean, that would be ridiculous. No, that definitely didn't happen...
Was hanging with my friend’s band, watching this movie in the back of the tour bus. The tour manager went up front to get something, and we switched the movie to Billy Elliot. He came back, sat there for 20 mins, then asked “where’s that talking dog?” 🤣😂🤣
So if you ever wondered why Johnny Knoxville's character just disappears from the movie and has no wrapup, it's because in the original ending Agent J and Agent K battled aliens atop the World Trade Center, where Johnny Knoxville's character and a bunch of other aliens we're trying to escape the planet, but then 9/11 happened, which they had to re-film the ending and they just couldn't find a place for him, which is sad for multiple reasons. Also, MIB 2 had issues, but MIB 3 is PHENOMENAL.
@@Replicaate Even Scream 3 got rewritten and it is by far the worst one in the franchise. At least Spiderman 2 was still awesome. The original trailer featured the World Trade Center.
I like how MIB 3 literally use the same plotline as the MIB animated series episode *The Head Trip Syndrome* But instead of a human bigot, it was an alien called Boris the Animal
