Gabriel Valente Ferrão songs and other things can't be what you kids today call "dope" that doesn't even make sense. Your choice of words are the following. *Cool*. *Awesome*. *Sweet*. *Fantastic*. *Spectacular*. *Amazing*. *Nice*. *Crazy*. *Devine*. *Triumphic*. Etcetera.
@@nickstrong1558 People have been using alternatives like 'dope' for more than 2 decades, why are you such a buzzkill? Better yet, who made you the authority on what can or can't be used for slang? You come off as a straight square with an attitude like that.
Well to be fair it is cheaper and the network doesn't want to spend a lot of money. They really have no option. and the ones that use traditional animation are in more danger of getting cancel because again more money.
The reason why cartoons are using flash nowadays is because it's cheaper and easier to make now. Traditional Animation is too expensive that's why Disney restructured their animation department as their making CGI films now they're doing shorts before a new movie but they still do traditional animation on TV.
+Hellarad boi It's not wrong, it just often looks like budget animation. You don't see Disney films made with Flash. (I mean not that you couldn't do fluid frame-by-frame animation in Flash.)
I hate how I didn't appreciatee this show as a young kid 1.The animation was slick as fuck 2.That hip/trip hop soundtrack was mint 3.The walk as 0:10 and the alien line-up scene was straight SWAG Writers don't put as much effort into shows anymore because they assume every kid nowadays is mentally disabled. 1990-2005 ftw
They may not lack of anything, problem is that kids of present generation (2005-today, those whom are around 10 or 12 now) are waching less and less television. As a consequence, why putting so much effort in a series that kids will just watch for 2 minutes, and then go back to their phone and RU-vid ? ;)
As a curiosity, the characters were designed by the Spanish cartoonist Miguelanxo Prado Plana, a popular Spanish comic artist (Galician, to be exact), who was hired by Richard Raynis to work on the production of the series due to his special way of drawing the characters. All the MIB agents, the vehicles and the aliens came out of the pencil of the Galician artist, who never worked on another Hollywood production. He later made his own cartoon film, called "De profundis", an animated movie who was nominated to best animated film in the Spanish film awards, The Goya Awards (Premios Goya), and where Miguelanxo was working during four years. He continues drawing comics nowadays in Spanish and in Galician languages.
I know The Real Ghostbusters did comic crossovers with lots of crazy shit like mars attacks and X-files also on a sidenote: the X-files comics has a bunch of crazy crossovers like Transformers and TMNT and The crow and that's just the ones i can remember.
Mason Tyler Men In Black in all forms of media usually deals with all forms of paranormal subjects. So it wouldn’t be far fetched for the ghosts having some ties with alien tech. Either way, I would of been happy as a kid to see a crossover between the two shows.
Something I will always love this cartoon for doing is bringing back Linda, Agent L, from the first movie. I loved her character, and was glad to see it on the show.
@@pandadeadpool2163 I heard her live action actress was known to be difficult to work with and supposedly Jones said he wouldn't do the sequel if it meant working with her again.
I Know This is Supposed to Be a Kid's Cartoon, But The Look and The Theme Music Makes It Look More Like a Show from Adult Swim, I Know They Never Ment It to Be, But It's Just Me.
Yes, this show was a young adult targeted audience. I think the west has made us inherently believe cartoons are for kids unless they're vulgarity is south park level. But many shows like batman beyond, (animaniacs believe it or not),avatar the last air bender, korra, freakazoid, gumball, etc are targeted from early teens into young adults ♡
Yeah, this show is definitely not aimed for children, i remember when i was little and this came on... I found it real scary, maybe 'cuz the few episodes i saw back when were with some alien dude that transformed in a very grotesque way, years later i bought some dvd's and i enjoyed it very much
That era of US animation was so interesting, a lot of experimentation, and a lot of more serious stuff. I remember being a kid when this aired originally, though I had a hard time catching any cartoons on time, so I programmed my VCR to record, was usually messing with computers or electronics, gooood times.
Cartoons from the 80s to maybe mid 90s were excellent. They had actual plots to them that would go for an entire season or the entirety of the show and would be resolved in an episode or two. The crap that they put out as cartoons nowadays I wouldn’t let my kids watch at all, if I had any.
We need a new men in black movie that removes it's focus on comedy and tries to actually tell a serious story about a human organization keeping alien contact secret from society. This shit looks so cool.
+Boy Targaryen. Oh i wouldn't say that, since ehm lets see - someone gets erased from the time line, they face death multipule times, he gets to see his father die and his younger self. Sounds pretty serius to me
michael komsky That's not something "serious" Seriousness is showing emotions in the most realest way possible. It requires excellent acting. Will Smith is not excellent. He didn't convey emotions in a believable way. He is an awful actor. They should cast someone else if they're making a sequel/reboot. Tommy Lee is okay tho.
0:09-0:10 I love the walking scene in the opening credits of "Men In Black: The Series" and these two men they move their shoulders and Tommy Lee Jones's character K playing Ed O' Ross from Season 1 replaced Gregg Berger from Seasons 2 to 4, and Will Smith's character J playing by Keith Diamond from Seasons 1-4.
I used to love this show. This era of cartoons was probably the only time I would call cartoons of live-action movies to be good. There was this, the Godzilla sequel series to the awful 1998 movie, the Jumanji series, the Adams Family cartoon. If you want to see good cartoon adaptations of big franchises, look back to this time.
@@jamesvanitas yeah I remember when I was kid only Season one was available And only on dvd but I couldn't find Season 2 any where It was like the show was ended or something
@@BigK13372 Neither of the ben ten version has nothing to do with MIB besides having aliens. MIB had mystery and just a tiny bit of horror while ben10 is mostly action.
João Pedro What are you talking about? Both Alien Forces and Ultimate Alien have a darker tone compare to previous season and showcase elements of horror in their given episodes. Alien Force did a body snatcher plot in the first season and Ultimate Alien pulled off an Old Ones story in its last season, those are some go to horror elements that rivals the one Justice League pulled. Plus with the way Plumbers operate in the show, it is pretty reminiscent to the way the MIB act. That is why I saw how those two iterations of the show comes close to what MIB have to offer.
So these three shows Extreme Ghostbusters, Men In Black and Godzilla all have the same creators and animated team and are still received well today. And while Extreme Ghostbusters wasn’t received well at the time. It has gained a cult following threw the years. :)
BRAVOS It didn’t have a following back then. Weird. When I was a kid I loved Extreme Ghostbusters. Its the show that got me interested in the GB franchise.
Władca Wymiaru I say the closest would have to be those two Ben 10 shows (Alien Force and Ultimate Alien) and Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated in terms of tone and humor. Oh and GI Joe Renegades.
Huh, how come I just unintentionally discovered this? I did not know this animated one before and why the hell this one is somehow more badass and cooler than the movie itself? Impossible
I loved this cartoon, such a great memories, the style they used to create the characters were so good, i remember I always tried to draw the same way but I was so stupid, too many fails, I wish I can watch the entire seasons all over again, nice intro btw.
I had to come back here after watching some of Inside Job, :). Both are great shows! I love these mystery / conspiracy type shows. So interesting and fun to watch!
The fact the original art composers who worked on Men in Black TAS also worked on Godzilla TAS is unbelievably incredible. Now the music composer for Godzilla TAS was none other than Jim Latham, who by the way was a big fan of Gargoyles TAS, wanted to incorporate the trumpet 🎺 sound with a futuristic upbeat tempo. And thus Godzilla TAS thematic opening was born.
I remember watching this as a child I really look forward to this amazing opening (it's so addicting). Now I want to re-watch this it's been years. Happy New Year to all of you reading my comments! I hope this 2021will bring us more happiness.
God I still remember this theme, though now I'm really starting to see how cool and futuristic it is. Kicks even more ass than I remembered. Always wondered exactly what they'd do against that monster at the end; seriously, even the Noisy Cricket couldn't hurt that thing.
I have been binging old cartoon themes. Godzilla, Gargoyles, MIB, Static Shock, X-Men, Teen Titans, first Ben 10, Jackie Chan adventures, and still looking for others I might have forgotten...
This is in my opinion the greatest cartoon intro of all-time. So slick, so cool. The best. Shame the movie series never captured the look and feel that the show had. Show was so good. Tragically you can't find the complete series anywhere. Not even DVD.
The episodes themselves have been forgotten over time, but here with the opening, we are undoubtedly looking at the most meticulously crafted and badass opening in the history of animated series.
