Interesting situation. Communication should be there from both people- we can't read minds. If the guy actively neglects the girl, then that is understandable. If there are some serious life troubles but you are actively trying to work through them while also trying to be there for the girl, then that is different. If you were there in their hard times, it would be nice if they were there for yours. Love is great, life is hard. Hopefully people can forgive, better their situations and maybe try again another time. Connections are meaningful and shouldn't be dismissed because of unfortunate life situations.

if the love is strong enough most mistakes can be forgiven and work through... if not everything that u do will irritate and annoy your partner and they will choose to walk away because that is the easy way out. of course if your partner had already told u what was bothering them u have to listen carefully and make the necessary changes otherwise when they reach their breaking point they will feel u are not taking their feeling seriously and leave u... i know cos learned this the hard way.

Does no contact still have an effect if she has a bunch of friends and can easily rebound? My ex is never doing anything alone, she always has someone to do something with unlike me. I feel like no contact would have no effect when she can easily replace me. It’s been 20 days no contact after basically a 2 year relationship and it hurts. I don’t know what to think.

I think most aren’t willing to accept the idea that if she isn’t that into you she’ll look for any excuse to justify moving on from you. Craig is spot on here about women’s age when dating and how that relates to what they’re looking for. If she’s in her 20s she has a lot more dating options than you and she will exercise those options because she can. That is a tough pill to swallow. All you can do is accept this and work on being the best version of yourself.
