Thank you very much. My old man LOVES this game, he says is everything he dreamed about a videogame should be like ever since he was a teenager. I like to see the smile on his face when he plays and gets all the troops he wants and gatters the ammo and weapons he wants to use, it takes him a while. When I was a little kid he spended hours on the editor of games like Age of Empires 1 and 2 making scenarios for me. I want to do the same for him with his favorite game.
(LAPTOPS NUMPAD) press the Windows key it will open the select thingy at the bottom corner type in keyboard, 'onscreen keyboard' should show up :) hope it helps
This helped me a lot. I was looking for tutorials, but most of them were not so great. Though, this one was very simple and explained it in a beginner-friendly way.
This might be dated but it's still very useful for people like me who like making their own battles. You did a good job on explaining this for me both when i started and when i came back after a year or so and forgot every control in the editor.
So when I try to use editor I can't see what I am placing down on the map. Its like fog of war is over the map in editor which I'm guessing shouldn't be the case.
hey man please help!!!! when I assign them to teams they disappear and only reappear when I select their number on my keypad!!! its really annoying because when I start the battle I only see one team firing
How are you switching between the editor mode and the actual game mode, as I can’t figure it out. Along with switching between teams as using the numb pad won’t work
I have a problem. When I spawn in any type of troop, they don’t have helmets or weapons and don’t have the player setting in their properties. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Ok so it lets me put tank men in the tank in player 0 but when I try to do a tank battle it won’t let me put any different players apart from player 0 in the tanks
Why if i change tanks with crew into player 1, all tank crews move out form tanks. and even i did not press start... and set them player 1 and 2 or player 0 and player 1 they start attacking each other...
I am encountering this wierd bug or well glitch. Im gonna explain how i encountered it. I loaded in a map put down some vehicles, saved, and then put down tank crews near the vehicles so i can make them enter the vehicle later. Saved again just incase and then i put them inside their tanks but now when i attempted to save it would only allow me to save it inside the map? Example: /map/tankbattle/ and when i saved it, it would put .mi at the end of the name. When i attempted to load tankbattle.mi it loaded the save in wich the tank crews werent yet inside their tanks. I also saw at the upper right corner that mi supposedly means MISSION. How did i get it? Well at the place where it says the name of the map It said something like this "MISSION: tankbattle" I have no clue whats the problem maybe its a new update of some sort or its the robz realism mod fault. This is really annoying me since i cant do any battles wich renders the gem editor usless for me untill i find a solution.
So my laptop has my f1, f2, f3, and so on set for the computer to like change brightness and sound. How can I switch it to different keys. As I’m unable too. I tired in the main game to see if that would work but it doesn’t seem like it.
when i try and select a group of soldiers, they all respond but it says "human" selected instead of all of them, then when i change him to team 1 for example i can't control him but i can control the others, any help on how do change all of the soldiers to team 1 and not lose control of them?
The 'clip camera position' often checks on by itself when I am playing a game in the editor.. Also I cant drag the map borders and other coloured lines, cursor turns green but it wont fetch. Whats up with that huh.
@@baguettelord4614 Go to your numpad on the keyboard and use the numbers to switch between the teams. If it still isn't working, try finding a key that says NUMLOCK and press that, it should be working by then.
Idk if you will every reply but I'm playing on editor & cannot get this green highlghts off my tanks in f1,f3 mode . It's always highlighted green all around and its annoying if you can help that will be way much appreciated!
Ok so whenever I try using F keys, it doesn't work. This actually happens in every game I own on PC. I use a Windows laptop and it doesn't seem to want to let me enter the player view mode, so I can't put men into vehicles. If anyone know how to fix this, please reply.
when i load up a map like a multiplayer map the textures are gone like there is only these lines not grass or sky or anything there is only these kindal lines could someone help me to fix this please?
Well I just got this game last Sunday and I'm very familiar with the editor but problem is I can't switch teams, using the numpad! Instead the center keys on the numpad move the camera!!! The keys that switch the teams are nonexistent!!!! I very disappointed that they did this! It has made using the editor harder and difficult to use!!!! Please help!!!!!
i cant assign my troops to a spot, when i select the team and try to put them behind a barricade or something like that, it does nothing. I'm so annoyed that I bought the game and the troops dont do what i tell them to so i just wasted my money
