@@mokabere2506 You can't come between top form Manangoi and Cheruiyot, they train together, same coach, same athletics club, best friends. They know each other on track better than anyone else I mean, Kiprop tried
Moka Bere I didn’t know you knew what each of these guys V.o2 max is. Just because they’re Kenyan and live at altitude doesn’t mean they have a higher V.o2 max. Mechaal is from Morocco, the same country that El Gerrouj came from and without hard evidence, I think you’d be crazy to say anyone has a higher V.o2 max than El G just because they are from Kenya
I think the final in Doha is going to be a fast race. The unbeatable Cheruiyot proved he can run quick with a 3:28 solo run in Lausanne and he probably doesnt want to risk being trapped in a sit'n'kick race. Jakob and Filip Ingebrigtsen could definitely go sub 3.30 in a fast race but in a tactical race someone like Lewandowski, with a recent 1.43 could take the win in the last meters. He has surprised us before! But we have many interesting names, Tefera, the Manangoi brothers, Musagala, Souleiman and Grice. I'll go with: 1. Cheruiyot 2. J. Ingebrigtsen 3. Musagala 4. E. Manangoi (if fit) 5. F. Ingebrigtsen
Cheruiyot always tries his best and Manangoi let's him think he's winning by running just behind him. Manangoi's finishing kicks are phenomenal. I don't know if Cheruiyot can match that. If he's gonna win a championship with Manangoi in the race he'll have to improve his finishing speed because tbh, that has won Manangoi almost all the medals he has.
@@felistergatwiri7134 but manangoi is very inconsistent unlike cheruiyot for the past two seasons. manangoi is becoming more an more unpredictable just like how kiprop was, you just cant tell his form
@@stephenmuguti5434 What're you talking about? You may think he's inconsistent but he gives his best and wins all major races. He won the African Championships last year. He won the Kenya National Championships last week. He'll be repping us in Doha and Tokyo. I guess Cheruiyot will do the double since he won the 800m in Kenya National Championships.
I'll never understand why one of the fastest middle distance men in history chose to run so many races tactically when he didn't have the quickest kick.
The best thing in this race is sports ship from newzealand player end i really love this thing the way he appreciated the Kenya player love to see that movement
Strange to me when approached to be congratulated at the end, not all athletes, but I noticed in multiple videos of different categories it's like sometimes they barely acknowledge the guy or girl. Hell even teammates from the same country sometimes act like they don't even exist. You can tell a lot of these athletes are very self centered. But to be at this level, you have to be. Still.. I'd love to see some, (again not all) have better sportsmanship
Kiprop doesn't have the quickest finish really . He runs better times when he makes it about himself and not using tactics. Too bad he's serving a ban because of doping. The question here though is... who coaches Kiprop? These athletes don't even get EPO by themselves. Bad coaching.
Manangoi and Cheruiyot make such a great pair 😍. They always run together setting pace for others but Manangoi's finishing kicks are always phenomenal. How he won silver in 2015 behind Kiprop,he passed like 4 runners in the last 10m
You'd think with siblings Elijah Manangoi and David Manangoi being world champions the commentators will bother to learn their name. Its always Manganoi
That fool is Steve Ovett. Have some respect. But yeah, that was a poor choice of words. Would be pretty messy if everyone started lactating when they rigged in the stretch.
@cyoungrun1 Look the video from 6:23, Ingebrigtsen was on the second lane and when Mechall was about to pass he slowly got into the first lane to block him. I've observed this guy in different races he tries to block others. there are races where he became an obstacle to others and made them fall to the ground
