At The US Open World Martial Arts Championships I did the Okinawan Shoubukan Bo 1, Sho Bo Kata. It goes back decades, maybe a hundred years intact. Parts and elements go back hundreds of years. Yet this Bo Kata did not even place...done perfectly. The judges and tournament were looking for flash, entertainment, and tricks.
