@@10smike Each of these senior guys has something special. I like Vines leg speed. Robinson has a great serve. Crabel can run down anything and has a nice all around game. Glen Busby is ranked #1 in world. He has excellent endurance and power with his forehand. All excellent videos 📹👌👍👏
Just about to start some seniors singles and this video shows the importance of consistency ... very few winners, many unforced errors ... thanks for posting
Steve: I can tell you I hung up my racquets after playing several sectional mens 60 singles and all the relentless dropshotting that went on. Knees said “no mas” for this tall guy. I now play pickleball full time and tennis part time
I like pickleball but clay-court tennis is my first love. I've learned to play inside the baseline and that takes away a lot of drop shots. Once your opponent sees you can get them, he usually stops that nonsense. Of course, the masters of the drop shot can also hit the angles so it can be very frustrating for a hacker like me. I hope to figure it out some day!
Yes, it was working well, and then he stopped using it. I'd have to study the video to see if Meyers was taking away that drop shot by playing closer in. Otherwise, I don't know why Latura stopped using it.
