this is such a good angle for seeing how damn quick table tennis really is. Also you get to see they players technique in much more detail. They should use this more often in pro matches. thanks for uploading ETTA
@gloriousnightsky He said 中嘞 or 中了 中=right on target or bulls eye in this context. It has many other meanings though. It pronounces "juung" or in romanized Chinese "zhong4." Some users misquoted this as "cho", which is not quite correct. 嘞/了= means like "ah ha" or any exclamation. It pronounces "leh" or in romanized Chinese "lei".
@tshirttime84 yea it could really go either way. ma long is slightly better cuz of his power, but jike is faster on the fh crosscourt close range. they have different ways of hitting so ma long will have the advantage in mid-distance straight topspin looping. jike uses more wrist while ma long uses more forearm. one generates high spin and speed with less power, one has all 3 but sacrifices reloop speed. just because it has all 3 doesn't make it better. high spin with low power is tough to block
☆☆☆☆☆ Like the world #1 tennis player Rafael Nadal, the world #1 table tennis player Ma Long is such an intensely physical player - relentlessly covering every inch of the court and unleashing his violent topspin strokes. You can see the effort he puts into every point and the pressure he puts on himself. I bet anyone up to US$1,000 that Ma Long will win the London Olympics. Talk is cheap! Show me the money! :-)
it must be so disappointing to zhang jike, always the second in every match he plays against ma long, he lost against ma in the austria open, and now he losses again here, so bad for him, and for make things worse, he lost two finals :S
