Beautiful makeover. You actually know how to sew. You use the correct terminology and address the stretchy bias. Great job. Plus you actually ironed the seams and fold overs! Yay!

This is an incredible video tutorial...it was very easy to follow...i actually think i can handle this, and any wait to hit the thrift shops to find a man’s shirt. The use of the collard stand is brilliant, very clean, rather than fussy bows. Subscribed!
This is lovely I do have one note for the arm holes try and pivot the bottom to a 90 degree angle to make it circular and not pointed it doesn't need much maybe a 1/2" to 1" will give the effect otherwise it's very pretty

Anne Kaltschmidt Hi Anne, thank you!I'm glad you like it but sorry to hear you're having issues with the collar. Perhaps it's due to the size shirt you used? Mine was a size medium. In any case, you could try switching out the button closure for a tie-neck instead. Hope that helps!

Amber Trudeau I certainly didn’t “waste” it. Not only did I produce this top from it but I completed an outfit with the remainder (see “How I Made Two Outfits Using Men’s Shirt Leftovers). Fyi, that’s what Refashions entail...taking unwanted garments, that would otherwise end up in the landfill and giving them a new lease on life.♻️
