Nyjah killed it with his second run. Eaton & Hoefler deserved their medals as well. But I feel like the score for Hoeflers third run was wrong.

Kelvin deserved silver. With the amount of tricks nyjah did perfect and that nollie heel nose blunt I think his run was definitely gold but c'mon kelvins run was better than Jagger's.

Kelvin's run deserved a 94, he was absolutely robbed. I don't even know why they bothered to let Kelvin go if they weren't going to take it into account. That was insulting to anyone who knows something about skateboarding.

I don't like Gary's videos but I love him commentating skate comps. He always says the hard truth about the skater or their run when no other commentator will, most of the time he's funny, and it beats listening to the boring commentators every skate comp

Wow who judges these things? Vicent milou misses like 1 trick in a sick line and gets the lowest score in the comp and then kelvin gets robbed of at least second. The other dudes knew the scores were ridiculous.

honestly so hard to judge, Jagger, Yuto, Kelvin, and Nyjahs runs were all insane with arguably the same difficulty and there is multiple judges giving scores so when they are all totaled up it produces a combination score. plus in skateboarding there is so many variables to judge its almost impossible to give everyone a completely fair and accurate score. you would have to take all the footage and take hours to meticulously judge all the runs fairly. Kelvin did some insanely hard tricks but he skated a bit slower and wasnt as clean and didnt have a hard transition trick if I recall, plus Nyjah didn't get off his board and did 2 more tricks then kelvin and skated the whole course. But much respect to all the guys out there anyone of them could have taken it.

I witnessed this in person, and that run from Nyjah was more like a 99.00 . Dude is a beast

Gary’s sense of humour is ok for 3 minutes... like on skateline... gets boring after 5 minutes, sounds like mumbling gibberish after 50 minutes!!?

I watched this live on TV but i am watching it again here cause it's so awesome.

So I see a lot of people calling Gary annoying and unlistenable, etc. I think y'all might be doing that on reaction due to a few of his first appearances as a commentator. Actually listen to him this time! He is much more toned back, still keeps his Gary-ness, but has a much more professional vibe. Not sure if its all Gary or if he just started to develop chemistry with the other dude (sorry his name escapes me right now and I didn't feel like rewinding) but its good to hear!

having Gary as a commentator is not only hilarious but also informative in that he is so knowledgeable about street skateboding ... hearing him hype on that Kelvin run in terms of the pop out and the stupid over the top trick on the Hubba was dope. such a sick contest and if your bitching about the commentators perhaps your here for the wrong reason and likely aren't informed on skating!!

How the hell did that last score get 89.66?! He pulls of not just the hardest trick of the comp but a solid run and yet finishes 3rd, that gold has to go to the cash cow I guess but rather skills determine it.

if you know skateboarding then you would know that there’s no possible way in hell that you do that trick accidentally. You can tell by his approach and the foot placement as Kelvin got into it. No toe drag or hand touch on the ground. You’re way more likely to get into back lipslide if you’re trying to kick flip back tail. You can’t blame him for the landing because it’s a contest and he did it in a line. Kelvin Is a straight up beast and should have won gold.
