This is what ppl ignored. He was just as hard on men as he was on women and honestly they got it easy. A lot of his earlier videos were like a gut punch to me. I started watching him late 2020 beginning of 2021 and his insight seriously helped me refocus. In 2020 I was going through a divorce and it was very difficult but his videos taught me how to recover and reinvent myself. Much respect to KS 🙏 RIP
💯... agreed. Women would have the benefit of the doubt and would have up to 2 minutes to explain their point and he would give chance for them to elaborate. For men, if you were waffling he would cut you off after 20 seconds and tell you to be succinct and clear as a man... *as it should be* !!!!
That’s why it seems like he was harsher on women. He’d give both men and women the same level of critique. The men would accept it and use their time with him to figure out what they should do to better themselves in those areas. The women would use their time with him to argue about how either his critique was wrong, how it wasn’t their fault, or how it’s the world that’s wrong. The only way KS could get most of them to even begin to understand was to hit them with “the kind of man you want has better options than you. So either get better, lower your standards, or die alone.” Never had to say stuff like that to men because the men already knew those were the options and were trying to do the first one.
What Mr. Samuels is saying here makes a lot of sense. Those $400 shoes will probably last a lifetime if you take good care of them, rather than buying a $60 pair of shoes once a year. I recently bought a pair of socks(they are called darn tough socks) for $20. They have a lifetime warranty on them. Buy nice not thrice.

14 years ago, I had a meeting with a recruiter for a contract job despite the dress requirements stated as "come as you are". Making the decision to dress in a blazer, white collar shirt, khaki pants, and lace-up shoes. Naturally, I got some ribbing about my appearance and I got the job. One of my fellow job applicants asked me how did I manage to get the position? My response was, "Not only did I research the organization and the office dress code." Mr. Samuels's statement "Image is everything" holds true today in how you dress and conduct yourself.
Kevin inspired me to 3x my income. I was comfortable making $110k/yr and I remember watching him back in 2020 during the lockdowns talking about putting in extra work. I forget the title of the video but that talk put a fire in me to go out and 3x my income. Thank you Kevin for what you have done. Your work lives on.

I was able to work with Kevin through Style Con in Atlanta which was something another content creator on RU-vid started. I considered him a good friend and a well of knowledge. There are few Black or Latino men out here addressing or helping to address the image that we present to the world. Where suits that have been bespoke Made to be measured, or tailored well are seen as old and outed by young men. However, a tee with a graphic on it is seen as high fashion. I work as a professional image consultant and my goal has always been to educate those who I come in contact with both professionally and in my personal life. Kevin talks about having an image that can open up doors and opportunities. I can not tell you how many times in my life the way I was dressed made things so much easier for me. Rather it is an issue at the restaurant, bank, hotel, airport..etc I was given better outcome because of the way i was dressed and how I carried myself. From my observations and feedback i get from young Black and Latino men, i can say it is not all their fault. Women play a big role as to how and lot of men dress in addition to other outside influences. If women valve a men in tee shirt and jean more than one who wears a suit, blazer, or nice sweater and Chinos. Then that is what they ( men) are going to wear. I had this come up in my personal dating life in the past. Where my S/O hated what i wore at times. When i pushed back and asked why it came down to her own insecurities. Just remember guys you only get one chance to make a first impression. How people perceive you will determine how they will deal with you. Understand your body type and what color work for you. Just because someone else wore something does not mean it will work for you. There is a difference between have a clothing item that fits well and one that is too tight. For the most part men clothing are not made with the type of fabric to wear so tight. Yes, there are slowly making garments with material like Lycra in them. Which has been used in women's clothing for years as they tend to wear toghter fitting clothes. However, we are not all the way there yet. So make sure you check the fabric.
What Mr. KEVIN SAMUEL says does work. I got great results from men and women. I can see from my side of my eye the way women look at me and approach me. Even old girlfriends' attitudes change, but that's too late for them.
I wish he was alive i would pay for his coaching services. An absolute legend. I turned all the questions he asks on myself started therapy and working to make sure I have a successful relationship and life
It’s soo surreal, I found Kevin when he was doing his shows from his car & was much skinnier like he is here 15:56 … It was great to see him evolve to what he had become up til his passing. I put a suit on on Saturday 7.1.23 and went to a popular black restaurant in Chicago (Phlavz) and a woman who obviously like other women walked up to me not even 2mins at the restaurant and said “you looking good today baby” I knew right then KS knew what he was talking about.

I still watch him to keep me motivated. I started dressing better and my bosses and their bosses speak with respect and like I’m a threat. They see me coming and change attitude.
Image has real power, I can testify to this fact. When my image is on point the more respect I received. I have been doing this a long time and have seen the results. If your image has confidence doors will open, people love confidence.
