These are so spectacular - I love how Lego and Bionicle / Constraction is so good at making massive impressive monsters and strange shapes. I have a bunch of humanoid Bionicle builds I want to make, but then I need to make some Rahi and monsters!

I love the use of the spring shooter in the castle wall of the final build. I’ve wondered before how to use that part for texture, since I don’t like spring shooters personally

Lovecraft the man might have been a horrifyingly bigoted man, but it’s also undeniable he’s inspired a ton of great sci-fi. Godzilla and Kaiju might also be grounded in horror and fear, but it’s definitely a different vibe. Anyway, I’m no expert but it’s interesting to think about the history of science fiction and horror

Technically speaking, "kaiju" just means "strange creature". It doesn't necessarily have to be a giant monster.
