Es una de las cosas más hermosas que ví en mis 59 años, no dudo que esa niña, Alexandra Dovgan es la pianista más grande de este siglo XXI, no solo por la seguridad con la que toca, que es realmente alucinante, perfecta en todo sentido, va más allá de toda explicación lógica y racional, esta niña es la reencarnación de una pianista del pasado, que hoy vuelve a tocar. Por supuesto me he quedado maravillado, el acompañamiento de la orquesta es excelente y su director, y muy lograda la filmación de cada detalle del concierto. Mendelsoohn nos deja su legado, una de las cumbres del romanticismo, en manos de una gran intérprete, despierta en nosotros gratos sentimientos, sus dedos vuelan por el teclado, con una sensibilidad exquisita. Un aplauso interminable.

The concertmaster (first violin) Massimo Spadano is clearly having the fun of his life... smiling ear-to-ear almost all the time, his sincere appreciation and admiration for Alexandra is evident, he almost looks like he was her father :0) and was moved nearly to tears at 9:00... I regret for not having been there. At the end of the concert the audience should have been on their feet: this is the highest degree of musicianship for the world to see (and hear). A globalist/technocratic world where arts are not contemplated for being considered "superfluous" is just unworthy.

I fell in Love with her and this concerto right away when she played it almost 3 years ago, at 10! , wearing the Mendelssohn romantic era off white truly lovely dress with a sash, matching the Tchaikovski lovely concert hall. A historic video of a prodigy child! And now she has advanced to another height in her artistry, virtuosity and to more confidence so fast. She so fits Mendelssohn. I would only prefer a lighter color dress for such a young girl. The rest is Perfect, also the videography.

I had the good fortune to watch Malofev and her when Denis Matsuev kindly brought them out of HK a couple of years ago. I look forward to watching her much more. I have thought it must be so tough to make it a classical music artist in Russia given how deep the talent pool is and how appreciated they one who make it are. She is a phenomenal talent.

Every time I listen to Alexandra playing, I'm simply in awe. There are first tier pianists, and there are pianists of a league beyond the first tier, such as Richter, Brendel. I feel that Alexandra is standing out of the first tier, on her own. There's a recent recording of her playing Rachmaninov's Preludes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fQSJdDEmzpA.html. Honestly, I've never heard a better interpretation, not even from Richter.
