Lillian Feng (age 16) plays the first movement of Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64, titled Allegro molto appassionato.
I hope you enjoy my interpretation of my all-time favorite violin concerto! I first heard it when I was 11 in a competition, and since then I dreamed of playing it someday. I told myself back then: I know I’m going to keep loving and playing the violin forever, so I must at least learn this piece, so it can stick with me for life! 🎻
