April 2024 passed mid night listening to this Masterpiece as you said. Such an amazing voice had the pleasure of meeting him in Sodere he is such a humble and respectful person.
I have been listen over and over ,but, never get old! what a voice difficult to believe this gorgeous sound come from him. One of my favorite oldies rest in peace legend.

We need to go back decades find Ethiopian songs like this one because new singers are no longer singing Ethiopian songs. They do not have talent to sing Ethiopian songs. ALL they do is attemp to rap, do reggie or rock & roll for which they keep failing to imitate. After a month nobody hears their crap because it is fake music. THANK you great singers of the past for leaving us timeless treasure of beautiful real Ethiopian songs.
I'm swedish and I just told my Ethiopian girlfriend that the arrangement of this song sounds like Celine Dion to me. Doesnt matter though as long as people enjoy. But I guess like this song you live with nostalgia. Ewadish nebbere.
