*Meng Bo did everything she knows in the 1st round... hard-punched, kicked, put Ritu down, got on top, did arm-bar... nothing worked* ... there was NOTHING she could do to WIN the fight... this fight showed how well Ritu trained with Panda and how strong she has become... *Ritu has transformed herself from the weakest of the Phogat sisters to become the most powerful of the Phogat Sisters... in just 2 years* ... stuff GOALs can do!!!
She has become better....but she still not the most powerful than her other sisters...geeta ,babita and vinesh are top class wrestlers...ritu is no match for them when its comes to wrestling.
Ritu's grappling, takedown, ground fight is brilliant .......this fight proves that she can take bombs and, still can control the fight....!!! From now, most of the opponents (atleast taller opponents) will try to fight Ritu from outside, because they will be vary of the take down.......and once u r on the ground, she is like a phyton, never let u go..........!!!....More tougher opponents on the way for Ritu💪💪💪💪💪...

The kind of beating Ritu took in the first round would have finished most of the fighters. Coming from there and beating her opponent was an exceptional effort. Stamina and strength at its best !
No man. In pro wrestling athleticism and storyline are much entertaining than MMA. And let me educate you . Modern MMA exists because of pro wrestling. In past pro wrestling was real combat sport , pure catch wrestling but now it's more popular. It makes more money than MMA. And still requires legit skills and most MMA fighters try to make career in pro wrestling specially in Japan.
Ritu really took some damage there. I really thought she was about to tap out or get KO'ed in the first round and that kick on the chin was hard i couldn't believe she was still standing after all that damage that she took. She is one tough woman and great comeback in the third round. Bo was good too.

To be fair, the type of soldiers China sends to the border regions are 3rd rate. No Chinese wants to be stationed in those desolate areas. On the other hand, India sends its 1st rate soldiers to its borders because they're always worried about invasion from China, Pakistan, etc. So it's not a surprise outcome when 1st rate vs 3rd rate soldiers have a schoolyard shoving match 🤣🤣🤣
Well even though I knew Bo Meng had struggled with grapplers (c.f. her fight v Santos) I thought she'd take Ritu. But I was wrong hats off to Ritu she's put some work in and got a deserved win. I still think she has a way to go as someone with her capabilities should be getting finishes not decisions. Congratulations Ritu you proved me wrong.
wow...that's one of the best fights I've seen seen so far.... she's got heart of a lion.even though she took those punches and kick right on the face she came back again and again .that's a display of high level of wrestling .. respect to her

Thats why: Don't grapple with the grappler 😌 Ritu is a multiple times national champion of a nation of millions of champs. Also is a decorated international level wrestler. Meng Bo is a wrestler but no where near Ritu's level. Meng Bo did exactly what she should not have done.
MENG Bo always seemed to struggle against grappler though but the difference in the grappling ability is lower than their striking ability. Meng is far superior to Ritu as a striker but Ritu is only a little better at grappling than her plus Ritu is really strong so she has an advantage.
Ritu's grround game is top level. That's not enough to be a champion. Ritu if she works on kicks,little jiu Jitsu adding some submissions to her weapons.then she is untouchable!
eagle is a world top UFC fighter with ground game only. He also does not have good hands and kicks. and Ritu is very much like eagle once on ground game over Tata bye bye
Ritu's biggest weakness is her inability to perform submissions. Ritu's focus should be to improve her BJJ & Boxing skills. Without improving her BJJ-skills Ritu will remain dependent upon "Ground & Pound" which isn't the quickest way to end the fight. Even in this match, Ritu was able to get the dominant position but failed to transition in to a submissions.
Really you don't have to mention Dangal everytime she fights it's getting annoying but this match was Ritu's match 1st round was looking like end but she some how managed to stay
Tigress is the lesser word for u. You overcame a very scaring armbar very valiantly. You are very great sports person. You are attacking your opponent for scoring not for injuring. Big sportsman spirit.
