Meng Lan is my FAVORITE Panda. He brings in more visitors and gets more love from the people than any Panda at Beijing Zoo. Do the people who are in the top position overseeing the Pandas know how bad Meng Lan's living conditions are and how little good he gets?

This is what I'm really sad about. The Meng siblings are famous but don't have all the food that they can possibly eat. To those of you complaining about conditions at Shenshuping, their pandas have a lot more to eat, I've seen them leaving bamboo shoots half eaten and they get fresh stocks replenished once a day. Despite the conditions at Beidong, Menglan has been seen sharing bamboo with his siblings next door. He's such a loving soul.
