Sometimes i felt i cannot carry the cross like her, to walk in such power, but the Lord taught me a truth through her. She recieved the power from spending time with the person of the Holy Spirit. That power helped her carry every cross. Hope this encourages someone like me.

I went with my mother to see Kathryn Kuhlman many times. Her services were in Fox Chapel Pittsburgh PA. My birthday was on the same day as Miss Kuhlman's I remember getting a birthday card signed by her for my tenth birthday.

But having read the bible at least half a dozen times and studying it for 20 years I see a lot of teaching on being positive and the power of confessing blessings for our lives. I do realized that there's a lot of abuses in the charismatic movement but that is why we all need to read study God's word for ourselves. If we are truly born again we have the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us. Hello Awake and Alive, thank you for your reply, I too see in the Bible, God wants us to believe in His power in us. Unfortunately as faulty as people are, there are extremes that are off the Biblical grounding hence the Holy Spirit is given to us individually to help us interpret the Bible and see God's Word for what it is - hope, love, healing, faith.... This is why I love Kathryn Kuhlman because I believe she was a pioneer in her day...and didn't care what anybody had to say about it...she believed God's word as the Holy Spirit gave it to her. I often ask God to tell Kathryn Kuhlman for me, how much I enjoy listening to her, and to give her a hug from me! Her words are still powerful, and they give me a spiritual lift, and I feel the Holy Spirit's presence everytime I listen to her preach. Glory to God! Praise you Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit!

+Obeile Klaas Back in 1975 I had the privilege to attend two of Kathryn Kuhlman's miracle services and if you left there the same person you were when you went in, SOMETHING had to be wrong with you or else you were dead! Even BEFORE the service started, you could sense the presence of God and people were being healed BEFORE the service even started! My mom, now deceased, was healed of high blood pressure and she even told me she was feeling very hot! I told her the power of God was upon her but she didn't go up. It is a biblical concept that the anointing which is the power of God not the person of God can become saturated in physical objects. Like mantles. In other words the power of God was so saturated on Kathryns life her dead body still carries it. That is a far cry from what you just said. Also healing and signs and wonders is a biblical concept but the demonic can mirror it which is why the bible speaks of judging by what someone teaches not the miracles and trying to determine what source they are from. As far as I have ever heard Kathryn and Benny Hinn teach on point scripture.
