you are a life savior david, I can't express how much I'm grateful for all of these lessons, there is literally no one out there to help with all these realistic problems, they always focus on illusionary one's, I don't have anyone to give me guidance, except this Internet, and there I found a treasure like you, I owe you for every little positive change I'm going to make, you are wonderful person out there, helping teenagers like us, well it's unrelated, but I will use in my study competition, it's huge right there, thanks love and loads of love by my side.
I have been playing for over 19 yrs and I just started to understand this I have always been good but never thought it myself until the last few years and guess what even though I know a lot more than I did I have been doing nothing but losing because I know people are expecting a lot from me I mean for the ones who know me and the other people that don't know me they have been looking at me like a easy come up but I found your video's an I have been watching them and I understand what has been holding me back all this time it didn't happen until a player that I look up to called me wake minded an I knew that they wasn't wrong but I didn't want to believe it but the proof was in front of my face anyway I just wanted to say thank you because I'm back to my winning way's
Such a great channel. Terry Griffiths (a snooker player, former world champion) said that snooker used to be 90% cue action and 10% mental approach, whereas now it's 80% mental approach 20% mechanics. I think that's correct. The other night I had a league match, I played with real confidence, really enjoyed the game. It was commented on - my approach and shot selection, but I didn't tell him that I'd seen a video earlier that taught me about how important it was to relax (quite a contradiction /paradox) and also that 6-2-7 breathing thing I'm sure that helped (either way it's part of my game now😁). Anyway I did feel genuinely relaxed, not just going through the motions. I played a really good player, he has decades of experience, about halfway through the game he takes this wild shot and it didn't go well (my captain told me he noticed that my safety play had been getting to my opponent) I was just being careful and waiting for my chances. Even though I lost, I played the best game of snooker so far. I nearly had him, but for an unfortunately placed pink ball I definitely would have had him! Thanks a lot for your help.
David gave me some excellent advice when i took up straight pool. After one year my high run went from 28 to 71. Runs of over 50 balls were common. I know of no one that understands the mental aspect of the game of billiards, which if played well is a very complex game. He is a great player and shares the important aspects of the game. His advice will separate the wanta be players from the winners in the game of billiards and for that matter any difficult task you may under take. players that
@@BlackjackDSapolis My friend Dave is the greatest 14.1 mind of our generation ive seen him commentate he knows what ball the player is gonna shot before the player does and his end patterns are ball for ball, Yes Id love to be his disciple. Guaranteed HOF for Dave.
I was in a slump, i copied Steve Davis' snooker stance at the table it was first awkward head right on the cue then it became the only way getting down in this stance for every single shot improved my shot making to the next level im NOT kidding this stance ensures you dont take even the easiest shot for granted , wish i did it sooner.
Thank you Mr. Sapolis for all your videos and Facebook posts. I am new to your channel and I know it is already helping me tremendously. Thank you for sharing your gifts and understanding with the world!
I've always heard this: "Hard work beats Talent when Talent don't work hard" I read Luther Lassiter had terrible sinus and Flu symptoms and still won a straight pool match like Dave said Champions show up to play.
This is a great video, it really is!! Efren Reyes is a wonderful role model, He is without doubt the greatest pool player of all time, Dead or Alive. Efren Reyes is so cool and relaxed around the table. I never seen him lose his nerve! I watched Efren Reyes play live in Thailand back in 2016, he played for 8 hours, he played anyone who wanted to challenge him, In 8 hours of play Efren Reyes only missed 3 balls, The man is a genius pool player!!
Outstanding clip ! From start to finish. Well done sir. Very good of you to make this obtainable to the public. One of the best videos I've seen in a very long time, and by a ball in a half :)

#1 your a dog. #2 you dont have the skill #3 you cant handle the heat. #4 you have fear of your challenger. #5 you lack confidence. pick one or some......... that's your problem.
I'm not new at confidence I had so much of it I was the toughest strongest baddest man out of most people in adapted sports history I my greatest accomplishment beating Tyler by being goalie and kick the ball with insane superhuman force and so far it was the most dangerous effective kick on the planet and my last year I was goalie again and I blocked it with my chest and stopped the ball so many times the crowd was screaming 300 times loud and where up on their feet and giving me their attention for being the bigger better winner which on this day that's is how I kinda got the name the weak man👍😎
