My story runs a similar pattern, a long period of unemployment prior to the pandemic so unemployment extensions weren't an option, nor was disability, though my health was deteriorating but not enough to qualify for ssdi. I finally found a therapist who takes medicaid and later found a job in an animal shelter at low pay but enough to get by. Writing has been a way through all this but it remains very hard to get published much less paid for your work.

Maybe if we lived in a world worth living in, people wouldn’t be so sad and scared all the time. Pills just cover up the real problems.

Whereas for me and so many others in jobs that could go full virtual without much issue, the pandemic was the biggest help to our mental health. The ability to work at home and save on gas and be cozy in pajamas while I worked was utterly amazing and I hated going back so I quit and changed to an online freelance job. Not everyone can but holy fuck was it a wake up call that working for an outside the home work place was sucking the life out of me. I’ll never go back. so it’s very unfortunate that it wasn’t the case for so many others😢

Thank you for covering ths important topic. I wish we could resume our contributions to the Intercept. (Our household was forced into retirement, and we are in the same situation as the people in the video.)

I hear that! I've dedicated a small amount for as soon as my funds go through. I've been at $10 or less in my account for quite some time now. But this is definitely an investment to donate to FREE PRESS, I'll trade an IPA to make a donation for realz

The intercept cares about mental health but then posts veteran’s mental health information online. 🤔

Yeah they are obsessed with that James earl jones and making my life the equivalent of ants in 2019 (as opposed to other times). It was funny at the time with the ppl I experienced it with.

Why was this narrated like a nature/intervention tv show?

I had to dig around but finally found your channel. Woot! Edit to add: Subbed, liked, will be sharing, and waiting on funds to donate finally! If everyone just sacrificed a soda at the gas station to send 2 bux even, it would add up. Who was it that said that there's no such thing as a democracy without an informed citizenry? Because it's true.

What did you expect? Politicians and health "experts" are not as good as people want to think.

Funny talking about mental health but have no issues divulging medical information on whistleblowers, and stigmatizing their past dealt with PTSD 🤔.

Everybody is responsible for his own thoughts. The consequences of not taking care of our thoughts is depression. The body tell you that you have do change something in you in order to continue sanely and healthily.

Don’t forget about all the chemical weapons their spraying in the atmosphere. Been spraying like crazy the past few weeks and all of a sudden we get these rain storms. Isn’t that weather manipulation crazy.
