This is a dangerous message. It is true that the Qur'an is a cure. Some people also need medicine as well. The trauma of verbal abuse and being told you are worthless changes the brain chemistry. I lot of people go only to holy books only and go on to commit suicide. We need the Holy words and the medicine to return us to stability.

Science has proven that there are real changes in the brain chemistry is happening with mental illness. It was when I finally agreed to also take medicine that my depression has become manageable .

Antidepressants have depression as listed as side effects. Not every antidepressant works and some cause people to commit suicide and doctors know that and get taught that. Your message is dangerous too. They still haven’t created a chemical drug for depression yet. But there are new studies about major depression and high dose EPA which is derived from fish something that Allah has created yet again. May Allah help and cure everyone.
