Incorect, mostly JZ motors plus the RB is a Nissan engine! you got it the other way around! most people JZ swap Silvias/240s!

@@aftrnoon_ac What I meant is, when you look for an inline 6 engine to swap for a Nissan Silvia, you likely would look for a high-performance i6 engine from Nissan. And an RB26, especially a turbo-charged RB26DETT which comes from a Skyline GTR, is definitely the one you would look for. 2JZ is also a high-performance i6, but it comes from, as the video title suggests, a TOYOTA Supra.

@@innerhammer Well i mean it's easy to get 2jz on this cars and to it's peak hp than rb26. Cuz even a stock 2jz engine can be tuned up to 600 hp without the engine itself breaking.

Oh kid, looks like you've never been to any drift comps and events. Most Silvias you will see in drift comps has 2jz swaps. Just watch Formula D for example. Of course RB enthusiasts put rb26 or even rb30 in Silvias, but most builders still choose 2jz since it has some serious reliable parts especially 2jz's thicker engine block compared to rb26 engine block. Even at Japan, most builds have 2jz than rb26.

@@etlogramen8665 The point at which I link to, he's been doing a rolling burnout for about 30 seconds straight, very low speed, extremely high load, never letting off. Absolutely no chance for the cylinders to ever cool down, that has nothing to do with drifting.

@@BoostHunters Drifters will never bought a worthless engine just to do a 30 seconds straight rev limits. They we're tuned for that, plus those engine we're used at the same thing over and over again in goodwood. That's why he bought that newly built s15. I think u don't know kevin quinn.

​@@etlogramen8665 I'm just wasting my time trying to explain this to you lmao. Yeah the engine can take it because it's properly built and tuned. Doing a 30 second burnout never letting off is exponentially harder on the engine that drifting a lap around a circuit, where you are rarely on full throttle for long amounts of time, giving the cylinders plenty of chances to cool down. Which is why you saw flames just pouring out of the exhaust at the end of the burnout, the ECU is flooding the engine with fuel trying to keep a piston from melting.

@@BoostHunters As someone with few technical knowledge about cars: What exactly is happening there? Fuel is dumped into the cylinders but not ignited, instead hits the exhaust system and burns there?

Actually 2jz can be tuned without changing the engine and leave it stock.

Godzilla was a gtr r32. toyota engine 2jz was his rival.
