Pity you’ll never get the V8 diesel. There’s a few petrol ones in South America and I suppose as long as you don’t live in Cali, you could always grab a classic with the ol ,4.5litre straight 6 petrol engine.once you’ve got it there, bang in a 6BT and you’re rockin in the new world. It’s not like the body has really changed in 25 years 😜 Only issue with that is back then they only built single cabs. Maybe the better option is to buy a 100 or 200 series Landcruiser and chop the body, get a service doby fitted and you’re off like Rocket
Had to come back to watch this again. One of my all time favorite episodes. Love it when Rocket comes along. Need to see more of him on newer editions.

Gents at 17 min 10 seconds when you mention you dropped the tyre really low to 12 PSI I thought to myself we do a whole lot of sand driving and dune bashing here in Abu Dhabi at 8 psi even. This without bead lock rims too. Love your vids mates

Should always check bog holes with a long stick. I did a large bog hole that someone cut a huge chunk of tree and was buried in the middle. Threw the front wheels half a metre in the air. I bounced over it luckily without any damage. The old hj75. Built like a tank.
My wife and I ride ATV's. We often ride in swamps that have never been ridden and as you know you have to make your extraction before too suction gets ahold of you. (insert jokes here) Here's my point, always have your recovery straps connected and winch rope pulled up high.

It’s a HDJ80 series landcruiser and it’s either a GXL/GXV or Sahara, they also come as a HZJ80 which is a less powerful engine as it is same design except naturally aspirated (HDJ was built for a turbo but is same design) but probably a bit cheaper and still a diesel, they also come as a petrol and I’m not sure but I think petrols are called the FZJ80
