Lior Suchard impresses Denis Walter with his uncanny mental abilities. He correctly guessed Denis' first girlfriend's name, and his card trick is staggering.
You are coming front and centre about the technique used in the writing down of the name in the pre-show. To have the method mentioned live on the air tears up a performer’s credibility!
I think the '7 of spades' choice was subliminal suggestion by Lior's repetition of partial sounds and words. He's the one that says 'spades' first to Geraldine …and says 'imagine, imagine' right after that (accenting the last syllable gine'…which sounds identical to the last syllable of se'ven'. Or he is a time-traveling mindreader! Love this guy...
No, it's just a trick. The deck has half the cards facing down. He picks the side that does NOT have the 7 of spades, and then pushes with his fingers from behind the 7 of spades so that it pops. Notice he NEVER lets the girl actually handle the deck.
The guessing the number in the beginning is pretty easy to pull off. All you have to do is write "Denis will say" then fill in the rest using the writing instrument that's stuck on your thumb. Thats why he tells the camera to look the other way. You can see at 1:26 when he's asked how he did it he puts something in his pocket.
I am gradually working this out, especially since the producer tried to hand him the cards the 'wrong' way up....he subtly turns them over as he takes them from her and then fans them VERY VERY carefully!
@@KAF128 It's quite easy. Half the cards are facing down already (notice you only see half of the deck facing up). He chooses to open the box on the side he knows does NOT have the 7 of spades. The cards are in a sorted order, so he just pushes the 7 of spades from underneath (in between the 6 and 8 of spades if you pay attention). Notice he NEVER lets the girl handle the deck.
@@pedazodeboludo Yep. As simple as that. He does this tricks a thousand of time and people fall for it. I saw 2 videos where you can actually see the gimmic on his thumb. He always say "why did you choose this number" to get a bit of time to write it down. Always.
Liors trick is revealed from 3:00 - 3:02. The host of the how tells about how he has written down the name of his past love but Lior interject saying but you never told me!!! Before taping in the pre show the Host wrote down this person's name on a transfer pad where the written name is secretly stored on the pad and Lior tears up the paper but the person is unaware that a second copy is saved on Liors magic note pad. Then he reads this and memories the name and this becomes his "magic revelation" during the live show
Ryan Snow I don't know, I've seen him do that trick many times including once when a host casually mentions her kids were in the studio. He asked them to come onto the set and guessed the daughter's first bf in a matter of seconds.
chance no no no bro all those kids that you saw he had a little pre show with them. Trust me I promise u. Google the one where he's on Larry King. Larry also talks about the pre show and Lior freeks out a bit and changes the topic. You can understand why he likes to not divulge that there is a pre show as people would figure it out quick. on you tube search this "nomad pad". that's what he uses in his pre show to steal the secret pin or number or first loves name. I've seen his show live in Vegas. Everyone is pre screened
