Tbh I can understand giving hosts the ability to sever summons - if somebody griefs in DS 3 for example you have no choice but to kill him, or yourself. However, I think it was terminally brain dead to give it an animation that cannot be interrupted. If the animation took a few seconds then it would stop nonsense like this, but still give hosts a tool to deal with griefers.

@@pintobean6702 Ranbo is right, the host gets a popup when they try to use finger sever on a phantom or duelist. They get sent home immediately after pressing the button, and for the host, the animation playing out is just purely for show. It should not be instant, and should be like the invader's finger severer. Fog-walls should be interruptible via backstabs, too, since that's also a common cop-out.

When host sends back duelist, they can send them back before the animation plays while invaders and duelist have to wait for the animation to play, and the animation has NO hyper-armor. So you can get stunned out of sending the host back home.

Imo I don’t like using fingerprint stone shield due to its look since I hate it’s design I prefer the crossed tree or manor towershield since it gives me the Roman shield wall vibes And I think I’m a minority that uses spears and Gshields and don’t shield like that often I typically use sprint light with pike both one handed and two handed and sometimes swap to other primary weapons if the spear isn’t doing it

I think it's fine tbh. Anti troll mechanic, but it shouldn't be as instant as it is imo. He should be able to interrupt it easily, so you can't just use it when losing

@@coldhardjayard5424 Certain mechanics should be interruptible, like fog-walls and black crystals/finger severs. Otherwise, it becomes a handy troll tool for copping out. At least, in other games where such things where unavailable or interruptible, the standard fallback for them was simply disconnecting. And DCs sometimes had a chance of being punished.

I don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something but other than quitting, what did he do that's significantly more unbalanced than stacking buffs and using Zweihander pokes with Bloodhounds step. I know BHS was nerfed but it's still a really powerful option just like everything else used. @@seikori1224 Wrong you can't use rune arc's in PVP they deactivate when you summon another player. Don't make comments when you don't know what your talking about.
