Poisoned arrows, tribal tattoos and local shamans. This is the Mentawai! An indigenous tribe living deep in the jungle in a remote corner of Indonesia.
In addition to their simple life, their specialty is the tribal, traditional tattoos, that cover their bodies from the bottom to the top, and which are made the same was, as centuries ago (according to the researches - is one of the oldest on earth).
Despite the Indonesian government's development assistance, the Mentawai people managed to preserve their aboriginal lifestyle.
