Surfing in the Mentawai islands onboard our recent July trip with Pelagic Surf Charters. With some stormy conditions in the islands, it wasn't perfect but with the ever-changing wind directions and moderate swell we managed to luck into few nice days. The group of lads from the sunny coats made the most of the conditions with some of our best waves at Rags right, Thunders and Lances left. Maccas and HTS were fun but busy. Finishing the trip in the Playgrounds overall it was another good trip with a smooth crossing back to Padang.With more swell on the horizon lets hope the winds settle.
