Walking through this would be something I'd be seeing in one of my Dreams, I'm from Buffalo, NY and if I ever decide to come to Santa Fe I'd be sure to come here
One minute you're in what looks like Main Street USA, then youre in a Beetlejuice waiting room, or in the Cuphead video game... this place is awesome. Its like being inside my brain!
So there is actually a sort of rhyme/reason for it if you follow the narrative as you move through the exhibit. :P All of the rooms are connected to the narrative in some way. And it is actually a whole year pass that you can buy! (I work there and yes, it is the most amazing place in the world.)
I mean the fact that not only was that place full of people, everyone in it was clearly having a good time and the kids kept going "WOW THIS IS SO COOL" really speaks to the quality of this attraction.
Ohhh... just saw the "sorry we're high" sign.... they do promote a trip ...I got it And the fact that there "are no clear paths" is interesting because no two groups of people will ever experience the same "trip" or visit there and each time they trip or go there will be different... I never wanted to visit new Mexico until now
I got to help make a mural in the arts and crafts area 😊 Random facts: the giant Raven moves at specific time, if you go to the bathroom in the house and look in the toilet you will see a boy, a lot of things have setting you can change a lot of the games in the arcade you can actually play, look at the ingredients for things I'm sure a few people will laugh. (Sorry for typos I am only 14 and I still have some trouble with spelling)
MIND BLOWN. THIS is what the Imagination Pavilion at Epcot SHOULD be..I have to experience this place one day..You've got my bucket list so long by now Carpetbagger!
OMG, this, THIIISSS!!! I bet if you gave this group $50,000 and twelve months, they could make that ride into something worth seeing, something that would send guests back into the world inspired, revved up, swirling in creativity and wonder.
Nailed it. This is exactly the kind of thing they should have at EPCOT. It's slowing being destroyed. Guardians of the Galaxy is out of place and has no business being there. THIS attraction looks amazing.
I would love to go there someday. From the looks of it, it's like a dream. It starts out normal but slowly it becomes bizarre, and somehow you ended it from your normal house to some nightmarish or fantastical world.
This seems like a place I could actually spend all day in. Just exploring, seeing where stuff goes... awesome Also the sign that says "sorry we're high" Wow
I just helped demolish the old warehouse in Denver where the new meow wolf will be built, and the new construction has already started. Can’t wait to see this thing. Right next to mile high stadium.
My dad and I went to Meow Wolf in January, and it was pretty crazy.. You’re lucky though, you got to go through (nearly) alone. That place was packed when we went
That place looks....incredible! The detail of a modern museum or theme park, but with the whimsy of artistic free reign...and WITHOUT the cynical,self-righteous preachiness of Banksyesque commentary!
I'm amazed! You've been here twice now and there really isn't that many people. When we went it was unbelievably crowded. It would a way better experience when there are less people. I'm sure weekends are crazy which is why we went during the week.
I have wanted to visit this installation for a while. Great idea and is also partialy funded by George RR Martin (Game of Thrones author) Shame that I live in the UK
George RR Martin purchased The Jean Cocteau theater here in Santa Fe and shows some of the best obscure movies the regular theaters don't show. It's a nice small theater which is part of Santa Fe's history and would be abandoned or destroyed if it wasn't for him.
There is thousands of clues around the house of eternal return to find out what happened and tells the story of a boy that fell into the multiverse, you can see him in the toilet and in the ceiling of the dining room. They have made their own internet full of stories.
I am sooo grateful to you for bringing us with you to these incredible places you travel to! Without you, so many people would never get to see the inside of this amazing place or the many others you share with us!! I would love to go visit here some day👍
OMFG I Want to go here I LOVE THIS,...this is the new roadside...I looked it up one in Las Vegas and Denver. THIS PLACE LOOKS LIKE A DREAM I am completely in need to visit. I wish there was one on the EAST COAST. WOW. YES I am in love.
I love that place, been there a couple of times. They are expanding and there will be if not are others in cities soon. It's crazy you can spend hours there and only scratch the surface it's so interactive down to ridiculous details of photo albums, journals, newspapers, and magazine woven into the insane story of it all. Everything is interactive.
Thank you so much for showing a tour of Meow Wolf! I can’t wait to go!!! When I heard about Meow Wolf, I was so inspired! I asked if I could go, and i can’t wait!
you know what? this reminds me of Myst, the old PC game from way back in the day. It's up to you to figure out what the hell the story is, ans that is amazing
I went to their website after seeing this, it's like 200 artists with funding help by Game of Thrones writer G.R.R. Martin. One of the coolest places you have been to yet, next to Rock City.
I went to Santa Fe from the Chicago suburbs because of you to see this attraction. I sent this link to everyone I am trying to convince to go there because you make awesome videos thank you. Now that I am a Patreon subscriber I've got my first postcard hanging on my fridge. Thank you carpetbagger Jacob.
I was so sick about a month ago and binged watched your videos cause they took my mind off being sick and you’ve inspired me to travel and explore, I’ve been to 4 states since then and went to Rock City in Georgia after watching your videos. Keep up the good work
I’m so glad you stopped by to see one of my Art-o-mat art vending machines! I host them here in NM. I’m glad you’d heard of em before since they’re from your neck of the woods! 👍🌶
