Mephiles as Infinite - Sonic Forces Mods

Would have been cool to have Mephiles be in Forces. He would have the glitch effect not because of the Phantom Ruby, but because he should have been erased but still persisting to live on.

Mephiles should of been in Forces. It makes too much sense. Explain that Mephiles escaped Crisis City by White Space from Sonic Generations and have Mephiles possess Infinate and use the Phantom Ruby to bring destruction and to compensate for being marooned in a dimension where he's no longer meant to exist. There you go Sega. Here's your Sonic Forces and Sonic 06 Sequel.

Hey that's pretty good For a few reasons: mephiles was the perfect mod replacement for infinite so whoever made this mod knew what they were doing I love how the o6 music is in there instead I love how mephiles had some of his original voice lines And so on and so fourth

I always thought that Mephiles and Infinite were similar in personality. (Except for the fact that Infinite is way cockier and that Mephiles is ruthless)Thanks for making this mod!

Not only does this make sense... But honestly it should have happen... Read the Theme of Infinite lyrics.... They make it seem like Infinite was powerful foe forgotten... The song makes so many connects to Mephiles and forgetting the events of 06. And It would make his connect to Shadow even stronger and hold more weight. He can care less if Sonic, Shadow and the others forgot, he will get his revenge and take over like he planned to all those years ago...

What if Mephiles appeared in Sonic Forces as a Secret Boss? That would be cool.

When you think about it, Infinite is basically a jacked up version of Mysterio: Most of his powers are merely solid illusions that a powerful enough mind can resist (Shadow broke out of his fake world quickly in Episode Shadow, even Infinite was surprised). Although they have physical form, they aren't "alive" and will vanish without the Ruby sustaining them. Even his replicas, while being as strong as the originals, are imperfect (As shown when neither the illusion Chaos 0 and Shadow used any chaos powers and went down quickly: apparently he can't seem to replicate chaos energy properly which would explain why he couldn't make any copies of Chaos beyond the form without Chaos Emerald. And illusion Metal Sonic seemed to rely a lot on Phantom powers rather than the original's speed and copying abilities). Mephiles on the other hand, while using minions, is a real threat. Hell the guy murdered Sonic in one attack, something that no other Sonic villain has achieved (Sonic got defeated, but not killed by anyone else) and forced Shadow to remove his inhibitor rings to force him to retreat.

Why does this make sense? This is a very well done mod!

I heard a theory that when Mephiles was erased he was sent into what he turned into null space, the time eater was just a piece of him, the phantom ruby was also made by him, and he was controlling infinite via the gem, that’s why he ‘fled’ Mephiles could’ve called him back to save him foranother plan, or a punishment for failing

Sonic never met Mephiles if I remember correctly. And yet he was one of his deadliest enemies. Given the fact he, well, killed him.

Just imagine Mephiles got hold of a phantom ruby,the chaos emeralds, the master emerald, the secret rings,Dark Gaia’s power,Excalibur, the power of all devils and demons etc. Well if that does happen then there’s no hope, basically the end

This is really great! Also, I notice how well Infinite's lines fit Mephiles, makes me wish he was the villain of this game or at least a boss fight like Zavok and Metal Sonic. No disrespect to Infinite though, I just really miss Mephiles and wish he came back Edit: Also, this is a side note, but I also miss that old victory music from Sonic 06. I wish that would come back in later games and play every time you beat a level

The events of 06 still exist, as the memories of those who survived the end of time, and the future that time forgot... The phantom ruby warps reality, interacting with it's constructs drags the target into a hellscape created from their own minds, and makes fears into reality, when used on Sonic, this fear is the one who killed him once upon a time, dragging a being who shouldn't even exist, back to reality, and he is angry. waiting until he can have his revenge, and reverse the changes in history.

This mod combine the fact that silver exists in this game. Makes a lot more sense if mephilis was involved instead of infinite and gives more of a reason why silver is also involved too

Not gonna lie, Infinite's voice actually suits Mephiles very well. I''d like to see the red aura/orbs changed to be purple, and the little red cubes being changed to the mini Mephiles clones from the first boss fight as Shadow (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ogV37dGGm18.html) Also, now that I think of it that glow effect on his spikes would be cool too.

This is honestly a really great mod and fits super well, if we initially got Mephilies I would have been happy But I do like Infinite in a so cheesy it's good way so I'm also very happy to have him in addition to this great mod

Honestly I can kind of see it. If Mephiles had Infinite’s Phantom Ruby on his chest, it would make a lot more sense of how he got Infinite’s virtual reality powers.

What if the Phantom Ruby had a dark Conscience that took on the form of Mephiles. when the Phantom Ruby came form Mania it suddenly unleashed the Conscience and it took on the form of one of Sonic’s oldest enemies, one that would fit well for the Phantom Ruby, Mephiles.

Fun Big Fact:now I'm no hacker and I never coded things before (but I do wish I hacked or coded something in the future hopefully but I doubt it) but in the files of Sonic forces mephiles's name was actually in one of the files he was original was going to be in the game but they scraped him he doesn't have any animation's or anything like that so I guest if you where able enable it he would probably do a T-pose in the air doing nothing and taken place where everything is white or maybe it would cuz the game to crash or something else IDK (you know Sega should've added mephiles in Sonic Forces over infinite cuz infinite was a disappointed to many Sonic fans)
