I hated MOTU up until a couple months ago. I didn’t understand it. Then the TOG line got me to look at this Merman figure. And that opened up the rabbit hole. This figure is my favorite of the year. I now own a Caste Grayskull and about 30 MOTU Figures, plus several vehicles.

at least you got him. some people were never able to get him thanks in part to collector con being hacked by scalper bots at the time. my wal-mart no longer carrys motu anymore and on top of that even mcfarlane and gi joe are starting to get the axe as well. i have people out looking for merman for me. but, so far no luck. congrats on reaching 43K subs.bro.

Cancel con as an absolute joke. I know people love to blame Walmart's deficiencies on bots, but when you start off having 12 of something available when there is 100,000 people online trying to grab the same item, of course it's going to be a shitshow. I don't know which one is worse, claiming to have an unlimited supply of something you don't, and then having it sell out in 90 seconds, or claiming to have an unlimited supply of something you don't then selling it for two or three weeks and canceling every order that was accepted after day one 🤷

The head looks a tad too big, but I do really like this version of Mer-Man. I’m not sure which look I prefer either, the legs or the tail. The tail is definitely a nice feature that Origins has started incorporating into the different figures. I’m also not sure when or if I’ll ever be able to track these down as my local Walmarts have pretty much dropped all MotU-related products. Last time I saw one was Krang when we traveled to visit family down in West Palm earlier this year, and it was kind of damaged, so I passed on it. ~Damon

This is a great figure. I picked up a second one once I saw they weren’t really getting restocked. Him and Krang have all but disappeared in my area. Moss Man is peg warming.
