Fun fact to add to yours!:⭐️ You are completely right with Geländerwagen, but that is actually one the G in “GLA”. The L is only there to make it easier to say, rather than saying GA / GB. I have found your videos so useful while getting to know my new Mercedes GLA35 over the past 3 months. However, I certainly liked this video as it included the GLA in it. We don't have the A class models here in the US, but probably would have still gone with a GLA since it is the best of both worlds (SUV & Sedan). Keep up the great videos.

Ah awesome thank you! Depends on how big you need your car for space etc It would be cheaper to run as the GLA’s not as heavy and has smaller engines for reduced running costs. Might cover a video on that in the future so I’ll add it to my list!
Thanks Stuart, it is taller but you’d only notice if you were flying round a track. For day to day use it is perfect. I had the awesome opportunity to drive one for a weekend a few months ago and it was a very nice car, I wouldn’t mind one myself actually! It also only weighs approx 100kg more than the A-Class so not really anything you’ll notice to be honest from day to day
Well both are from a premium manufacturer so I would hope neither would give any problems! 😅 I can’t speak for the GLA as although I’d had one for a weekend once I do own an A-Class and love it! A GLA is almost identical but just taller. They’re based on the same chassis. Arguably right now I’d prefer a GLA as we’ve just bought a dog, and he’s growing fast! So the boot would be quite welcome!
Sadly not electric on new ones. Mercedes have to adapt their specification due to the ongoing semiconductor shortage. Hopefully it’ll be reintroduced in new cars in the future!
I have a c220 cdi coupe 2015 atm. I am looking to get a new car. I am torn between the A class and the GLA. I like to go fast. And I also need the car to be reliable, I am currently leaning towards the A class. Can anyone advise on which model is more reliable
I can speak from experience with my car, I have an A-Class and it’s going great so far. A-Class and GLA are almost identical though apart from the raised driving position in the GLA so I assume they would be the same 🤓
Hey Sakis, thank you! Not sure I’ve heard of the production level before, it does vary round the world with equipment, options and packages etc. In the UK there are usually options for Executive, Premium & Premium Plus 🤓
Mercedes have not confirmed this, there are rumours floating around online about it, but my take on it is that there will be an EV model with a similar shape in a few years time 🤓 Again not confirmed by Mercedes but it’s what I think might happen

The A-Class is Mercedes’s entry level car to Premium cars, however if you compare the two you’ll have a slightly softer ride on the GLA. The GLA is higher too so you’ll sit in a raised position. However most people need’s are different for cars, so you ought to try them out. If you speak to Mercedes, they can book you a test drive 🤓

i got 2021 gla as a gift... hated it!! it was so jerky. traded it in for 2022 glb/amg i love it.. white with black rims and black grill she's a sexy bish.. we don't have hatchback A-class, only sedan where i live.
Don’t worry I’ve heard this many times before but rest assured the entry level engines in the compact car range are not just "Renault engines", Mercedes and Renault have combined their efforts together to produce a very highly economical, low emission and powerful engine. One of Mercedes-Benz's best sellers at the moment! Mercedes also put their own tech and spin into it and designed Formula One technology such as Nanoslide and even cylinder shut-off called CAMTRONIC allowing the cylinders to go down to 2! None of this is found in the Renault’s engines so no, they are definitely not the same at all.
Pedro Molina hace 3 minutos buenos videos pero a Mercedes le sientan mal muchas cosas pero no consideran para nada las cosas que cabrean a los clientes y cada vez menos y aunque esto no venga nada al hilo del video tienen a clientes con vehículos nuevos muy inteligentes y actuales con muy poquitos Km en mi caso un GLA 220 8300 Km paralizado por un puñetero travesaño de aluminio delantero que va detrás del paragolpes esta un poquito torcido ya mas de 2 meses a falta de este accesorio y tres meses el vehículo en el taller que no da crédito a estas acciones por un siniestro de pocos días de resolución para funcionar perfecta mente argumentan no hay y como digo yo vehículos nuevos se siguen montando y se les monta ese puente el puente en cuestión y tiene guasa cuesta por recambios entorno a 260 EUROS me dicen pues claro entonces donde esta el problema POR LO VISTO PARA MERCEDES BENZ es mejor tener a los clientes cabreados a muerte y con coches paralizados porque a estas alturas llame explicaran y todo hay que decirlo cinco reclamaciones a atención al Cliente de MERCEDES llevo puestas en fin vergüenza no tienen y segura mente habrá mucha gente con situaciones similares entiendo que halla falta de componentes electrónicos pero un puñetero trozo de aluminio en mi caso es muy fuerte y este tipo de acciones hay que condenarlas y visibilizarlas porque ellos siguen haciendo propaganda en modelos por salir y cuando un cliente compre un vehículo de esos que rece para no tener el mas mínimo problema entonces se va a enterar se que es un tocho gordo pero hay que criticar esto y visibilizarlo porque nos están engañando y estafando como a imberbes y no debemos permitirlo NO NOS AN REGALADO NADA.....y nos timan a todos todo mentira no te fíes de nada MUCHAS GRACIAS A TODOS Responder
